My response. I had a chat with LP and he pointed out that Locke is ahead in techs. LP is probably not doing that bad either, but I decided to ask what is Nakor's view on Locke.

Quote:Hi,

T165 sounds alright and this time lets phrase it at the end of T165 ;-). Looking forward to your trading suggestions.

Locke seems to be running away in techs. How is your relationship with him? I'm open for suggestions concerning the usage of my army after the current war is over ;-).

Rifles+cats sounds a lot better, but you obvivously need massive stacks of both so after they reach next level units you're probably toasted, but at least you can give them a good fight.

T119

WK mostly abandoned Athens and sent his troops towards north. He seems to have 4 HAs in the area of which 1 is severly injured. Probably wisest move to do, if he wants to delay me as much as possible. He also killed my copper guard i.e. Axe+Spear with a cost of 1 HA. We lost 2 cats when capturing Athens. Not quite sure, if I should have tried to spare those and just suicide 2-3*HAs there instead, even if he did left spear there. After all cats are slow to move and therefore harder to replace.

Sentry units revealed he has pretty weak defenses in the south. The easternmost city had just 1 warrior. Now the question is should I go after Corinth or the southernmost cities. North is probably better since he could counter-attack more convincingly there although the weak cities in the south are quite tempting. Corinth would be good place to defend also so that I could concentrate on south after taking it. I also wonder where did his capital move since none of his visible cities have a star.

Nice work! thumbsup

I like the power graph...it's "Plako" and "Everybody else"

Also, Beijing needs a name. IMO?

thx. Imo is good. Somehow this war ruins my other management practices.

Athens needs a name also.

I just lost Luddite's graphs again. He apparently has built some courthouses. He isn't that far from me in power.

Great work,

I agree with going north first to smash the rest of his resistance. Just don't forget to post sentries down there. It may also be useful to send a small team to pillage those horses.

You could always go with a really old (pre-internet) acronym: SWALK.

I think I'll send all horses that are close enough to attack Argos in 2T to do that. They can try to pillage horses afterwards. Slow movers will go towards north.

Haven't ever heard about SWALK, but the meaning of it is nice, so some of the cities will definately get it. However I'll use NIMBY for Athens.

Ask your parents I'm sure they used it, and if not grandparents.
