Analysing the T81 APTmod data - Gold

RB

Our max gold generation value is 61, and our max costs value is -32. Ie, we are at circa 65% breakeven research (61 / (61 + 32)). Note that our max costs is artifically lowered due to running priest specialists in MM.

WPC

WPC's max gold generation value is 24, and their max costs value is -80. That value is a false outlier, probably due to a unit upgrade. Their true max costs value is -4, ie I guess they are not using binary research.

Germans

The Germans's max gold generation value is 14, and their max costs value is -72. Like for WPC, that value is likely a false outlier due to a unit upgrade. Their true max costs value is -18. Like WPC I doubt they are using binary research.

CFC

CFC's max gold generation value is 72 as of T55, and their max costs value is -35. The gold generation is a false outlier, it is in all probability failgold for Stonehenge. Their true max generation value is 35, ie they are currently at circa 50% breakeven research (35 / (35 + 35)).

Thanks m_h! I've updated most of the raw data, but the detailed analysis will have to wait until tomorrow.

I'd really like the war weariness data as well - just the raw number is fine.

30. So the usual -1.

Quote:T73: +0 culture - revolt?!?

saw that too in the numbers and was quite curious.

also - is CFC SPI? they'd have to revolt into Judaism to get the +1 in the cities that Judaism spread too, correct? And we dont have a revolt indicated for them.

EDIT: nm, the star of david clearly visible in the screenshots above smile

Regardless, religion gives culture when you have no state religion, too.
I have to run.

T82 - 825 BC

Cliff's Notes: WPC and the Spanish are up to 16 pop (+1). The Germans are up to 14 pop (+2). Apolyton is up to 19 pop (+2). CivPlayers is up to 23 pop (+3). CFC is up to 24 pop (+1). We are up to 25 pop (+1). Germans likely built an axe and a chariot. Another team built an archer or a barracks. 30 land tiles were claimed.

Demos:

F8 analysis tells us that we get 11 new pop world-wide (including barbs). No land points this turn - they will start to arrive on unknown teams next turn. Rival global population rose with 341000, and score analysis gives 10 more pop for the teams.

Rival worst rose from 72000 to 102000, and the Germans gained 2 pop points, growing two cities from size 2 to size 3, of which Wismar was one. They have 14 pop total now. CivFr (rival best) didn't grow, and neither did the rival best population value.

WPC and the Spanish are up to 16 pop (+1). Apolyton is up to 19 pop (+2). CivPlayers is up to 23 pop (+3). CFC is up to 24 pop (+1). We are up to 25 pop (+1).

Global power rose with 19000, of which the Germans (rival best) claimed 11000, 1000 of which was pop. It's probably a chariot and an axe for the Germans. Of the remaining 8000 in power 5000 came from pop, leaving a barracks or an archer to make up the last 3000 in global power.

In claimed land, the rival best rose from 96000 to 97000, and total claimed land increased with 30 tiles, which probably is 3 or 4 cities expanding borders. Cross-checking with the APTmod culture data might answer if one of our neighbours is one of those.

Also, I've found that I hadn't been as regular as I should have been in noting down whips earlier, and thus my earlier whip analysis is invalid for several teams, especially CivFr.
