Regarding diplo, I think the rules said no "numbers" (like 3g for 3g) or "letters" (using city initials/names). But thats a question for the tech thread.

Are you observing a 3 way turn split with both Korea and Carthage?

If you want to let Germanjojo double move you so that you can swap turn order, that's been done before. Clear it first: pm jojo and the game admin before you do it.

Those fast galeons and frigates can make our life much worse than you can ever expect. I am not sure what to do. May be try to make peace and rush to the steel/steam power for ironclads. Otherwise I feel that we can lose our islands in the same way.

My thoughts exactly. With standing galleons and frigates, we must fear our mainland too. But if I am right, there will be a peace offer from GJ awaiting for us once REM/AI play. I dont see a reason for GJ to keep fighting with us when he have no much else to gain from us. But we will see.

There was no peace offer from GJ. I went ahead for a naval battle, but we had the worse luck with combat and managed to sink only 2 ships of his - a frigate and a galleon. The tally so far is us lost 4 ships, he lost only 2. Wondering if it is worth that we propose peace to REM/AI.
