Cristo would be pretty great, especially for team 3. They could do a 5 turn burst of whipping, then regrow under emancipation. Or swap between slavery and caste for ultimate production. Not to mention all the other civic swapping they'd want to do, like OR/Theo and bureau/FS/vassalage . That really might be better than factories/power, especially with all the unhealthiness those bring.

Yeah, 1 turn bursts, even.

Exactly, they wanted a certain result so designed their test to confirm that result, not disprove it.

Just to clarify I only posted this to confirm what Automated Teller wrote, not to poke at anyone. We all suffer from confirmation bias to some extent, it appears hardwired in the human brain, mitigation is the best result available.

Well, factories and power plants have a steep price. They are an investment opportunity. Cristo is just free benefit - an extremely potent one. I don't even know where to begin.

well don't forget that Cristo only benefits 2 out of the 3 civs - don't all teams have 1 spiritual civ?

Cristo would let the spiritual civ flip civics every single turn, and like Novice said that could actually be quite useful in this situation.

Well sunrise going into serfdom is an error. It makes no sense. All he has to build are railroads. Serfdom or not its going to take 2 worker turns ether way. We see what they did to make this error soon.

I think Spullla is going to delay the attack once they notice it takes more than 1 worker turn. They would have to come up with a new plan and they are not willing to "hold the save" in order to do so.

Edit: I know why. 0.6666666*3 is 1.9999 or 2. They did not know the game round the .6666 to .67. Amusingly this is like the game telling them that 0.9999999 does not equal one! lol This is an example why you should worldbuilder everything in this game. There is no reason to take a pointless risk and trust the game to do things correctly.

67% for Quick Speed is standard and well-known for a player like Sunrise. Especially since he's lived in the MP world for years.

I agree with you that sunrise should know about 67% but unless you think its 66.6666% going into serfdom makes no sense. Maybe its other issue that we have not seen yet?
