I kind of understand Arki's pain. I also joined this game to learn as "weaker" partner of my team. But since my team mate went AWOL in September, this game has not really thaught me much. Add to that the stressing time I've had in RL, I can say that I've not enjoyed the game as much as I've hoped for.

That being said, Arki please don't quit. Assuming no miracle happens, I'll find myself soon without empire. If it is allowed in this game I could join your team as a refugee when that happens. I probably won't add much expertise to the team, but at least it is more fun to get beaten when you have company

Hello everyone.

I am going to be doing some extensive traveling across the U.S. in the next few weeks. Specifically, my first trip is from February 20 to 22, so for those three days I will be unable to play any Civilization. Unfortunately, TeddyKGB has disappeared, and he has not responded to my email. Is there anyone here we know that can play the turns for EggHeads in my absence? I have turn reports for pretty much every single one of the last twenty turns, so it wouldn't be too bad for a newcomer to get up to speed. I also have a fairly detailed micro plan for cities, workers, and other units in my head that I can describe to a player.

And to other teams: I can continue the diplomacy for our team as usual (even while a sub is playing) but due to my schedule, please understand if I take a while to respond.

For what it's worth, after Feb 22, my next trip is on March 9. In all likelihood, I should be able to play Feb 23 through March 8 without any difficulties. My full travel schedule is:

Feb 20-22
March 9-11
March 15-20
