Probably not going to play D II anymore. If anyone wants to pilot SmOcchi_TheBare, let me know and I'll provide pass and acct name.
I have one more round of dumping items onto mules left in me. Will probably see a few of you this weekend if an RBD game is up.

Occhi, we will MISS you dreadfully.  Who else cracks jokes in mid-fight and gets me to giggle like you do? Your trademarked smart-arse remarks make the game so much more fun. 
However, Shishak will, I am sure, continue the saga of the naked dancer to Matriarch status for you.

Seriously, why totally give up on D2 now? Time pressures, other games holding your interest? From your other posts, it sounds like you're not enjoying WoW - has that soured you on all Blizz games?
I'll echo Shadow and say that we'll miss you muchly - after all, I have you to thank for getting me into Battle.net play with the unforgettable Friends of Sisyphus team! Without the co-op multiplayer aspect of D2, I no doubt would have moved on from it years ago.

The other day, doc and Zed I think were around in a RB game, I had just lost my HC trapper to a very weird Bremm moment in Hell and I got fed up.
I asked myself why I was playing DII, over any number of other things I could be doing. Did not come up with a good answer. Worse, the last few times I could have fit into a Slackers raid something RL kept coming up. I am out of synch with the group.
As for FoS: The best reason to play an online game. The people you are playing with. I am still bummed that in 2001, on my way down to TX from CT, I could not work in a drop by to meet you and hubby and kids in NC. I also missed a shot at meeting Bolty in PA that spring. That would have been so nice, to meet you folks IRL.
If RL changes enough that I can fit into Slackers, I'll let you know. Prospects are not good.

This weekend is the March Guild Wars Beta weekend, but I'm certain I can spare one evening for D2. What about everyone else? Would Sat, Sun, or neither work for you?

Guild Wars is still inaccessible to me. :mad:
However, Saturday is better than Sunday, this weekend. If it is Sunday, I will arrive late, if at all, due to a social committment.

I'll try popping onto b.net both evenings, at least briefly.
BTW, last session, we picked up the WPs for the Frozen Tundra and Ancients' Way. No quests were done, but we are now primed for a Rite of Passage...
I've not been playing D2 much - not gaming that much at all lately - but have messed with Dawn of War and Divine Divinity a bit. (DoW does and awesome job of capturing the feel of W40K, and DD would be very good if only I couldn't count on it crashing after 20 minutes.)
And I think I've fixed my computer stability problem. I'd flashed in a new BIOS. When I went back to the old one, things got better. It was funky karma that I screwed up my machine on the day the manufacturer closed their doors, but at least it's going for now... While I somewhat regret buying a warranty on the thing, I'm happy with the box itself - it's very quiet.

Sorry for not making it last Sunday - the whole family was pretty wiped out by the travel day (having to get up v. early, mainly).
I can make it for Slackers either tonight (Saturday) or tomorrow night - Shadow prefers tonight, what about everyone else?
