I'm not sure, but I don't think Darrell is really trying to wipe out Yaz. He was just trying to do some damage with the units that he'd already built to repel the initial Persian invasion. Ruff might be in trouble if he's relying on his ally to send enough units to kill Persia completely.

Does anyone think Darrell didn't execute that city attack that well? He had an opportunity to cut the 2nd city and all of the units off and head to the cap.

I should probably point out though that this one was renamed to Galle from Headingly (I think it was Headingly... or Edgebaston...). This is beacuse I wanted to keep the seperate islands to a different test playing nation.

The other missing city appears to be Headingly, which I believe to be his Ivory site. .. It doesn't show up on Darrell's city list, so my bet is that he's passed it across to Krill - who is the only other one with OB through Yaz to enable him to receive the Ivory and then trade it on to Darrell.

And Dreylin has already passed on his suspicion to Yaz so either Dreylin will soon look like a 'not very smart'-person or we can expect some drama in the public thread. Perhaps it's time to prepare some popcorn

I posted the rules on first page as I understood em and that is that only civic and religion changing missions are out. Everything else is a go. I've never gone espionage before but I think this may be the situation for it, plus I now have CoL so can fit in a courthouse maybe before the storm hits to run a spy for more spy gp points.

Glad Yaz isn't falling for the peace deal though, must be something shifty going on there. Possibly SL is trying to transport a GP or troops over to Darrell/Ruff for gifting?

SL says he wants peace just for the trade routes. Makes sense to me. I don't think there's any GP deal going on, Darrell and SL agreed that Darrell would research Music, take the Great Artist, trade the tech, and leave Sistine for SL.

Yeah, that does seem odd. Darrell promised he wouldn't try for Sistine. Was Darrell trading Music around elsewhere?

Still, Sistine is expensive, so getting the 400 hammers (quick speed) for free isn't a terrible idea. Settling the Engineer instead takes 88 turns to pay back the hammers with OR and forge.
