One of my favorite stories is about the space probe sent to Mars that accidentally crashed into the planet's surface, destroying on impact. Supposedly the accident was due to NASA engineers getting their calculations mixed up, and confusing an entrance velocity of feet per second with an entrance velocity of meters per second. Whoops.

Not that I'm suggesting this game is going to crash and burn!

Bloody Super Virus

I've been ill for almost a week now in case anyone is wondering what the lack of updates is all about. I'm still suffering from some fever and on-and-off headache as well, so I'm fully content merely playing my turns and passing the game along at this point.

Too bad Twinkle is running away in the post count war now. Paranoia tells me he used biological warfare on me irl...

Hm, I've looked into the score increases again and just realised I made some errors when I applied the prereq bonuses the first time around. Darn it!

Good thing I like maths, seeing as I probably would have jumped off a building by now if I didn't!

I'll just upload some screenies instead methinks. Yes, that makes sense. The espionage can wait a while longer. Update coming up.

General Progress



I settle for posting one screen for the time being.

As you can see I've discovered Bronze Working and started on Pottery. My current techs are:

The Wheel
Agriculture
Hunting
Mining
Animal Husbandry
Bronze Working

Writing is the likely next choice, and I'm thinking I'll aim for Mathematics after that. Still need to plan it out in more detail.

Hinduism founded. Probably by Timmy, but that's mostly a guess at this point. Note to self: learn to spy.

Sandoria is nicely developed at this point. It's not visible in this picture so I'll grab a better one next turn (which is actually turn 26, played 25 earlier today). The Deer, Sheep, Fur and a hill are improved so not working any crap tiles.

My explorers are visible in the mini-map. The general idea is to explore south and southeast. My first city will be south at the Horse.
