I ended turn guys. I thought better to do it now than after I changed the server turn timer, so please treat this turn like it had 24 hours in it.

Is the game rolling along at 24 hour turns now, or is it still on "infinite" time? Gold Ergo Sum Wrote:What does this mean? I just hope everyone plays in the first 24 hours. ![]() Lord Parkin Wrote:It's presently still on the 4-5 day timer (96 hours, but we all know the Pitboss timer runs slowly). You choose "change timer," input the number of hours, and then it applies at the next turn roll. The PCs I play civ on are different than my hosting PC. Since I happened to be in position to end my turn (and therefore roll the turn) before I was able to change the timer, the timer still reads 96 hours. Please treat it as if it said 24 hours. sunrise089 Wrote:Right. In pitboss you can't change the timer of the CURRENT turn. A bit of a pain, but at least not as much of a pain as being unable to change the timer altogether would be, I guess...
OK, thanks for the explanation. Looks like every turn after this one will be on the 24-hour timer.
Remember, except for rules adjudication or server crashes or things along those lines, there are no pauses allowed in this game. So if you think you might have to miss a turn, make sure your dedlurker (only WarlordDr doesn't have one) is able to play for you, or you queue up your moves and builds in advance.
Hello everybody !
![]() We ( Mackoti and me ) would prefer to be contacted - for future alliance/other proposals - at following email address : ioanmacedon@yahoo.com . Probably this will not happen to soon but it's better to mention it now ... and to not create embarassing situations latter in the game. ![]() Best regards and let's keep playing ! ![]()
Figured I'd go through the thread to compile all the emails in one place.
SleepingMoogle (Louis XIV of Babylon) - SleepingMoogle [at] gmail [dot] com Lord Parkin (De Gaulle of Egypt) - lordparkin [at] gmail [dot] com Adlain (Wang Kon of Arabia) - AdlainRB [at] gmail [dot] com Nakor/Gaspar (Asoka of Vikings) - nakor.gaspar [at] gmail [dot] com Locke (Isabella of England) - lockepitboss4 [at] gmail [dot] com Mackoti/Ioan76 (Roosevelt of Netherlands) - ioanmacedon [at] yahoo [dot] com Which means that the following folks are still lacking an email address: Plako, Luddite, Sunrise089, WarlordDR. Plako (Catherine of China) - ???email??? Luddite (Bismarck of Sumeria) - ???email??? Sunrise089 (Shaka of Zulu) - ???email??? WarlordDR (Washington of Greece) - ???email??? Apparently WarlordDR also lacks a spoiler thread, and hasn't logged in here (let alone posted) in close to three weeks. Um? ![]() He does seem to be playing his turns though. I guess he's just a quiet guy? ![]() |
