I think most reasonable people won't hold it against you. My interpretation was the same as yours(that war could begin on 110.)

Might as well give a quick update so you don't just see the war from plako's PoV.

plako has moved forward onto the forested deer right next to my capital. For some reason I never thought he would do that (smoke), and with +75% defensive bonus I'm not going to remove him from there anytime soon. He doesn't have any cats though so he's not going to get past 2 axes and 3 archers on a hill with just 2 axes and spears.

I had 7 HA's that I used to try and steal the 2 combat workers he used. Sadly I didn't have enough units to finish the job so I cut my losses when I lost my 2nd HA.

And plako kills all the HA's I sent out with a stack he had hidden. banghead Just goes to show how much I'm paying attention and ow good I am defending. And his first cat appeared too.

Oh well, full defense mode begins. Let's see how long it takes before he captures a city (knowing me, it'll be next turn).

Haven't lost a city yet. jive Although I will have lost my copper by next turn. frown

Minor victory though, he left a worker guarded with only an guerrilla archer defending on our border. One of my HA's killed it at 75ish% odds and revealed 9 HA's that could attack Corinth under the fog. After a couple of HA's blocked the path and reinforced the city he'll have a hard time continuing with that plan. (although I had already had moved a spear away from Corinth banghead)

Aside from that, it's mostly been smoke which I can only assume that plako is reporting in his thread. Still, since I'm not caring for anything else but this war it's inevitable anyway. (My current goal is to survive until T130)

Well, plako will take my capital next turn. frown Inevitable I guess, but still saddening. At least I haven't been eliminated yet. lol

You didn't break the NAP. Also, i think that after the time you've been part of RB and after having seen you in multiple games, you are both an honourable and skilled player in my opinion.

Well, it's been a while, and I'm still alive (barely) so I guess an update is due:

Firstly, Knossos:

plako somehow forgot that I had a city here. lol He finally has some cats bombarding the city but he only has 5 other units so it won't fall this turn. Still, it's only a matter of time before his giant army up north moves to take the city.


And finally, my super secret awesome weapon (which if you've been reading some of the other threads you probably know about already):

I had a settler that I never managed to use before preparing for war with plako. I've talked with rego a bit and he's agreed to let me found a city on the tile that my settler is standing on. I haven't settled yet since ideally I'd like to be down to one city before planting, although I have to do it within the next 2 turns.

What rego doesn't know is that I'm not going to be content simply waiting around for plako to build a galley and find me. No, this goose hunt chase has to be exploited as much as I possibly can. What I'm probably going to do is chop out another settler ASAP (math powered chops give 30 hammers right?) and find a spot further east that I can settle, away from the giant lake and plako. Granted, my military will soon consist of one galley and 2 workers, so if I annoy Moogle or Adlain by settling too close to them there's nothing I can do to stop them from putting an end to my plan. Still, it'll be fun.

Anyone got a good name for this city?
