Do we really want a poluted GP pool from the wall?

Also, considering Barbs are off, great wall is not as powerful.
With regards to Pyramids, we can make a play for it if we get stones and org hooked up early enough, and look at running representation. If we dont get it, not that much of a loss, given we will be building quite a few queachas in this game being inca. we might have a surplus of units we could use to run up the hereditary civic and grow our cities to a large size for whip/draft purposes...

if we're gonna partially build the pyramids for fail gold, might as well try to actually build it, and not be that dissappointed if we fall short. There are at least 2 teams that will be quite dangerous if they get it (and both of them will probably try) so it would be worth it for denial alone.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

ehhh I think building the pyramids for real would be a big mistake. We're financial, we've got tons riverside grassland to cottage, and there's at least one team out there that will be gunning for them hardcore (Surya of India). Let's just stick to cottages. If we wanted to build the pyramids we should have picked a different leader.

The only wonder I would really like to get is the MoM. Maybe the hanging gardens or great library too, if noone else beelines them.

Agreed. No sense putting hammers into the 'mids when we could be getting more settlers and workers to expand into ridiculously lush land. MoM is powerful here, and if we expand heavily (which I think we should based on the map and just our ability to spam financial cottages to not go broke) then the HG should also be pretty strong.

Also, did we ban AP? A monk economy might not be terrible with SPI.

Yeah, agree on REX here. With all these rivers and green lands it looks like the right play. If we want MoM we may need to beeline Calendar considering how popular a wonder it is right now, but that is still a while down the road. For now we need to get as many riverside cities up as we can to take advantage of being FIN

Hmm that's a thought. Espeically if we can persuade someone else to run the same religion as us.

I'm partial to a Monk Economy myself, nice synergy with SPI temples. For that though, we really need a GP to bulb Theology.

Or just cottage spam and research it. Theo isn't that expensive.

If we are making a play for Mono, and converting to Judaism, then monk economy would flow naturally on...only thing to weigh up is whether all those hammers put into temples and prophets can be better spent on an army to go do smack some neighbours?
