First Match is over ... had a horrible draw (Twillight dragon and both Polymorphs), and the mulligan wasn't much better (Water Elemental, Kodo and Arcane Intellect, but since my opponent (warrior) had a slow start, i managed to keep board contol till he ran out of good cards, at which i was able to pling him down inch by inch ... only scary part was when he threw his two Lord of the Arena in subsequent turns ... one of them got polymorphed and the other got Mirrored by Mirror Entity so they was handled nicely
Second Match was much faster ... managed to get a Quick Questing Adventurer and a Flesheating Ghoul out, and sacced a handful of small cards (Arcane Missiles primarily) and small creatures (Razorfen Hunter and pet) for boosting them up, forcing my opponent to waste his Pyroblast on the Questing adventurer (which at this point was 9/9), and won shortly after with my 9/3 Ghoul

Third Match ... ugh ... Druid that got Alarm-o-bot out in t1 (Innovate) and it drew Malygos ... Maly on t2 is quite deadly i tell you
Forth was easy enough on the other hand, got a early Board lead and my opponent wasn't able to oppose it, even if many of my mobs on it was fairly weak (was able to nuke down anything he placed on it ... or silence it in case of Taunt creatures, or sheep it in case of a a few big things ...) ... could have gone very different if he had had a board clear (he was Priest)

Fifth game ... was second and started out with Mana Wyrm+coin+Arcane Missiles, followed by early Questing Adventurer+Flesheating Ghoul, and got early board presence ... only scary thing my opponent managed to do (warlock) was getting a Abomination out, which i prontly killed with a Scarlet Crusader and Razorfen Hunter's Pet (Since they would die anyhows) which boosted my Flesheating Ghoul up to a stupid 11/1 ... sure he was killed the next round but still :P ... won easily afterwards
Sixth game ... computer crashed shortly after starting the game hence accounted as a loss
seventh ... lost to a Paladin that managed to keep a strong pressence through a Taunting Fen Creeper that was buffed to the eyeballs with Blessings of Kings (and i didn't have anything able to remove it)

Frost Nova - Arcane Missiles - Water Elemental
bit underwhelmed by Water Elemental (unless you could somehow get Taunt on it), and Frost nova, while good just aren't my cup of tea
I mostly agree with Terror's analysis but I just wanted to point out this choice which I think is a big mistake. Water Ele is one of the best Mage Cards. It is 9 stats for 4 mana which I believe is the highest possible (same as Chillwind) plus it has an OP ability. Given likely board states at turn 4 the Water Ele will not die to anything except hard removal and will usually give you board and card advantage next turn with its skill. There are very few large board threats at 4-mana but Water Ele is one of them.
Also I would never draft Mirror Images unless I absolutely had to. It is a deceptive card because it looks like it's giving you board control but it's really just stalling. I love when I see my opponent play Turn 1 Mirror Images. Passing up Fireball (OP) and Cult Master (very strong) for it is questionable.
One way to think about this is that almost always Fireball is better than Polymorph. It is harder removal (doesn't leave a minion requiring a ping) and you can use it to charge at the end. Only for extremely large minions (8 health or more) is Polymorph better and even then the difference isn't that big.
Edit: I guess technically Twilight Drake is the highest stat 4-drop because it can possibly be a 4/10.

Heh, me too, but then I fudged my battlenet password reset (I had to give my first and last name, and I couldn't remember if I gave them my real name ).
And now for some reason I can't load battlenet anymore...
Edit: managed to get on the site and reset!

It is very frustrating when a Mage has 2 Blizzards, 3 Water Eles and 2 Pyroblasts in Arena. I still almost won. QQ
