Turn 51-53
Something I never realized before, it's more efficient to build a mine over a forest as opposed to chopping a forest and then building a mine thanks to rounding.
Interesting stuff in the event log. First, Ruff sniped off my sentry chariot
. Retrospectively, it was a pretty bad tactical blunder by me as I left the chariot in sniping range of his chariots for two turns in a row, so he was able to attack out of the fog. He got a lucky withdraw and didn't lose anything on the attack. On the plus side, I already have a new sentry(as easy as killing a barb warrior at 99%)
Secondly, Q unsurprisingly built the pyramids. I'm honestly fine with that. He sacrificed a lot to do it; he's behind on expansion and power, which could lead to some fireworks with Commodore who has a respectable military. From pretty much the start of the game, I decided that I valued the flexibility of early monarchy instead of rushing for a wonder.
Turn 52, a library was painfully triple-whipped in Lupin. This was necessary because, a) I was above the happy cap and b) I really need to beat Ruff to third ring borders here. It gives me control of the ivory tile(though I'll soon have other sources) and more importantly allows me to attack him out of my territory with 2-movers, while denying him the same option.
New sentry moving to the Q front.
Ruff front. I'm hooking up that ivory, dammit!
Power eot53. Like I said, Commodore has a sizable power advantage over his two neighbors. If I were Q, I would be worried.
EP screen. Both Ruff and Q are dumping all their point into me, but it won't do them any good
It's good being ORG Sumeria
