Thanks for grabbing this turn! I completely forgot hunting was coming Iin this turn, AH was the best choice here for sure. Should only be one more turn before I'm back, could you move the tzeentch worker to 1ne of waagh! ? The eastern worker is going to the cows, if the chop finishes (can't remember) they can double up on the pasturing.

You're a life saver commodore, this game probably would've collapsed without you nod

Haha, thanks. whip were had by all.

I can't believe you don't like the Eldar though, that's a tsk-tsk opinion.

There's TBS 3rd or 2nd city + border pop. Depending on where the city is, that could be an irritating plant for me. I definitely won't go raze that, no way I could maintain surprise with that sea border.

The newest addition to the Grimdark Future, Waaaaaagh!. WAAAAAAAGH! WAAAAAAAGH!

The capital, fresh off of a 2-pop whip terrace. Obviously the growth wasn't micro'ed, but what the hell.

Tzeentch

And our 2nd city, also whipped. It's got very nice hammer production of its own, and will be pumping out Axes/Spears/Quehcuas, as the situation calls for,

God, having cheap MP until Civil Service is going to be sweeeeet. Makes me want to take HR early.

Edit: That screenshot for Tzeentch is out of date, it's whipped off that forest tile into the Terrace

Definitely a non-trivial benefit of incas!

Well my scout was trapped. Hopefully dazed understands that I'm just passin' through. If not, his scout's going to die, too. Confirms archery research, and furs + grass sheep + grass pigs + plains hill. Uh, eek No wonder he's been eclipsing me in growth.

Overview of the Empire, turn t53. Growth after this whip cycle, going to churn out a settler in the cap at size 4, and worker at Tzeentch size 3. Waaagh! will work its row of shared grassland, where I'm putting down my first cottages. You can see my Quechua, which still has a movement point, sitting next to DR's scout. I tried to send the message 'don't kill my scout, I won't kill yours'. Axe and Quechua are both on zone defense.

Quechua finds his warrior. I'm not going to follow that into his territory next turn, don't want to turn this into a needless bloodbath.

What's this, an update? crazyeye

State of the Grimdark Future: T60

it's really 61 but I want to seem coordinated here

Our great Capital, in all her resplendent glory. The settler has beeen 1 pop whipped up to 100 hammers (totally on purpose, I swear). After the settler completes, we've got a work boat eating that yummy overflow. These fishermen are headed east, to a new city that is being planned, and my, what a city yikes. I tease. Another quickie quechua for some MP and growth back to size 4. Once it reaches four I'll start it on another settler, I'm breaking even here at 90% research, need to accelerate this growth curve, and there's some really nice land I'd like to claim.

The second city, named for the greatest of the chaos gods, and second greatest schemer in the universe. Tzeentch! Working those yummy 6fh tiles to get a worker out in no time, that overflow from whipping is going into a nice 1 promo axe. Good luck attacking me with anything this side of uh, chariots. haha.

Finally, the latest addition to our burgeoning empire. Some of you may wonder, why are you working a non river cottage? Are you financial? Why did you even build that cottage? Well, the answer, as always, is smoke. I decided to build that as it was a shared tile, too bad it's not even shared with the capital, just the second city. Whatever, we can't all be smart now can we, imaginary lurker with PhD in Civ. alright

What's this then? The soon to be founded city of Leman Russ! Huzzah! First ring cows (yum), first ring fish with Wb on the way (yummmm), second ring whales, spices and gold (GIB NOW). 4 worker turns to get this baby connected to the empire proper, and then a chop/whip terrace to get some culture going. Sailing is next on the docket after Writing, and that means whales! That plus gold means another 2 happy and I can finally start growing some cities.

After sailing, I'm definitely going math, but I'm torn with currency or calendar after that. Calendar lets my shoot for the moon with MoM, but better and more realistically, gives me 2 more happiness in the form of silks (capital) and spices (above). I'll have to come back to this point again later.

Finally, screenshots of our neighbours, in clockwise (starting with TBS, ending on Dazed). Not pictured: Germanjoey/scooter

I don't have to say it, but I will...

Yeah, my neighbours are going to be rough this game. I'm thinking they're all going: Jackpot! Noob neighbour in inca! Easy expansion!

While I'm going, oh fuck, Commodore, you hate me, oh fuck.

well, you're just going to have toprove them wrong!

Three pictures to illustrate my feelings right now. I named them Grrrrrrrr, GRRRRRRR and GRRM. They are going to get thrown down. Neighbours shouldn't be allowed to step like this man, shit's going to get smacked. This will probably end with me getting spanked, but yeah. Tilt mode: engaged.

Can't decide which one I want to attack first. TBS's new city is a lot easier for me to hit, I can get him with 2 movers out of the fog by roading my gold tile. I'll check with the scout to see what he's go in there, but I'll wager it's a dog soldier, which will have approximately 0 chance against chariots.

Dazed seems to be running warriors and axes, so a chariot fest is in order lol

Maybe I'll tech HBR instead of maths, but then my economy is just going to be so laughably bad. shakehead

Both of my neighbours settled straight at me, that is just not cool at all....
