At least we'll always have good looks and charm...
Well, let's get to that turn report, shall we?
After we powergamed our way to being the last to end turn, I quickly played turn 0 and turn 1 this morning, making sure no one would steal the hut that is 2 tiles from our Capital. Better be safe than sorry, right?
The tension was unbearable...
...
...
Of course, we got a map. Yeah, yeah, I know, but don't fret too much. At least it was a decent map, not a "hear thear be oceanz" map.
You see, the map revealed in details how we managed to make the
worst best move possible with our settler.
Time to start training those skills... You know what I mean, right? Everybody knws what I mean...
Nothing rationalization can't solve!
You see, our moved managed to free a perfect second city spot, near the southern pigs, that will fit perfectly with our perfect plan to go for Meditation first. Our worker will be busy improving the pigs for the second city, so he won't lose meaningful worker turns by not having anything useful to do (he could always meditate, I guess, but I did say "anything useful"
). That city needs no techs teched to be profitable, due to river TRs and pigs as a great food resource.
I'm still not skilled enough to explain why we moved 1NW, rather than 1N, though. But I'm sure I'll think of something along the way.
Anyway, I think we should move our scout south, while revealing the most terrain possible. We should try to get that hut in the south and explore a bit more around the second city. A quick study of the maps, gives me this route.
There's bound to be treasure in the big "X", right?
