Ok thanks. With that chop, you'll be able to overflow into a WB for the hamlet city. I think it makes sense to settle there because you'll be able to work an improved tile in the fish right away. You won't necessarily have to switch off of Poly as we can revolt to Slavery while the settler is walking over.
I also reassigned tile micro in the cap, it was working the grassland hill instead of the mined copper hill.

Oh, thanks, I must have forgot to clip the copper hill. Hamlet city it is!

Wetbandit question on what you'd do here: If I move the Settler on the Hamlet I can found it next turn, but that puts it in fog so there could be an animal there, though there were none I saw there before my Scout got eaten by a bear (The bear could not have moved there). If I settl next turn I do not have to delay Hinduism though. Should I move the Settler and risk the animal or wait 2T for the Warrior? (If I had thought to move it it'd be like 1T). I decided to wait for your thoughts before moving anything so that's why I did not end my turn.

It's certainly a risk. If this were single player, I would probably do it, because the consequence is me starting a new game. I've also had some drinks as I write this, so I'm inclined to gamble. How broken up will you be, though, if an animal has made it there?

I'd be fairly sad, but mostly because I really don't want to mess up what seems like a very good opening spot for what I feel is the best combination in ToW currently. Of course, no guts no glory, y'know? My initial gut feeling was that I don't think there's an animal there and to gamble, it's just I imagine if it is eaten we basically lose don't we?

So I just said fuck it and moved the Settler. As you can see, the result was a great success. The Fast Worker is pre-chopping the Plains Hill tile so that it can be chopped for the next item after that 2T Fast Worker, presumably we go for a Warrior and then chop out another Settler, then they can mine the Plains Hill for a 5 hammer tile. Very good terrain for traits!

I'd definitely improve the sheep and pigs before mining that plains hill.

We don't have Animal Husbandry and unless we slot it in after Poly we won't have it until after The Wheel/Pottery, will we? Do you think we should go for AH and then The Wheel/Pottery?

I set it on AH anyway since I wasn't able to play until now and I can't really not play my turn for the answer, sorry, if you think we should Wheel + Pottery instead I can switch.

Also I forgot to say last night, but we did indeed pop Hinduism into the second city, Kars, and it's borders popped this turn, so it's seafood was immediately work boated.
