Here's the demos:
#1 soldier count just for barb defence, looks like most people doesn't have the kind of barb trouble I'm having. Then again most people probably don't have to defend from multiple directions while settling in people's faces.
I'm fluctuating from #2-4 in food at the moment, number 1 I'm pretty sure is wetbandit. I'm guess myself, mackoti and Parkin would round up the top 4 and we are all relatively close.
Top GNP of 124 is probably Seven, with cheap libraries, Creative culture and an early Academy, I would be very surprised if it's not him.
My GNP is pretty low at the moment, I am paying 7 gold per turn in unit costs. But I will be able to fix the GNP problem in a few turns.

So this just happened:
HAK got a city auto-razed by either Parkin or Seven, my guess is Seven since Parkin ended his turn just before this happened.
Go fight guys!! Don't get killed though.

Another city,
This gives me 2 commerce trade routes everywhere. Since wetbandit is being stingy about giving me OB, you gotta do everything yourself.
Great person next turn:
What would I prefer? The merchant is better short term, and scientist better long term. I think I would rather get the merchant to bulb Currency to keep the snowball rolling.
Got OB with slowcheetah though, he's running a chariot around my borders. Got my workers all covered though.

Well I got a Scientist, made an Academy.
I turn on tech, Currency in 5. Demos:
Not bad.
I think I figured out who founded Judaism.
Forgot to check if he was in Organized Religion.

I get the graphs on slowcheetah:
Slowcheetah seems to be a little behind wetbandit and I, but ahead of DQ.
Apparently DQ is quitting, more on this later.

Alright so apparently retep takes over for DQ. retep seems to be a pretty aggressive player from what I can tell from PB13. I should probably play slightly more defensively but what do I do instead? I settle in his face of course.
There's an argument to settling it one tile east to grab the cows with a border pop but that's probably a little too greedy and I prefer to be on the hill since this is a front city after all.
Retep's got a barb axe to deal with too,it will probably move onto the furs, now let's see if retep have war chariots. That retep city though, it looks like that city could have more riverside grasslands than my whole empire combined.
I think retep will have a uphill battle at this point to remain competitive with the leaders. This may make him desperate enough to attack me. I'm not too worried right now at the moment however.
What's next? Well Currency in 3 turns, after that I go Iron working. I am the Romans after all, I'm stepping on people's toes everywhere in my city settlements, it's probably wise to have better defence. Calender after that, I got Spices, Silk and Dye all soon to be in my borders. Then perhaps build a wonder or two? I keep spamming cities of course. The Great Lighthouse is getting me 20 commerce per turn at this point. Definitely worth in my book. The top GNP this turn exceeded 180, quite impressive. No way for me to match that with so little river tiles, at least at the moment.

I just got a random Judaism spread. Now this is interesting. I could tech Polytheism->Monotheism for Organized Religion, I will need two turns of revolt for that. This could be worth it, I think I will need to check the difference to the civic cost before I make a decision.
The opportunity cost to that is that it will delay Iron Working and Calender, I should probably check my tech rate after I get Currency as well.
Edit: OR cost me an additional 5 gold per turn at the moment. On a different note, slowcheetah is in Hereditary Rule and Org. Religion, same as retep.

OK, so what happened? I got Currency last turn and got Iron working this turn. I have 2 Irons close by but they are not in my borders. I will settle for them next.
I signed Open Borders with retep paying him 2 gold per turn. This is actually stupid because this is benefitting him more than me. Will demand gold/cancel at the first opportunity.
I got a trade connection to mackoti and Gavagai, so seems like they are close.
Mackoti is already running away with this game, but then again that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
Screenshots next turn.

The mids.
I got my heroic epic unit, Charismatic trait at work. Iron is around, but I can't see the food yet. (assuming there is food)

You can also see DQ's northern borders.
Met HAK...at slowcheetah's capital.
