Just to clarify, what exactly are you counting as a war? Will it be up to your discretion? Say Mao declares war on Zara and at some later time Pericles dogpiles on the loser. Is this 1 war or 2?

I assume total amount of war declarations, since every other way seem to be arbitrary?
I'll be sad if my guess isn't reasonably correct since I made an effort to go back and count number of wars.
My votes tell coherent story as well, but I should have avoided putting all my eggs on one basket for this one.
