Also who is OT4E?

One of the best players from ladder. To make an aproximation about him he won like 5 times the world champion duel , if he would take time to play would be a top 5 at rb for sure.

Well I hope his participation was made known so the lurkers could take that into account in the setup phase of the game.

There's a turn report but first this from the tech thread.

OT4E Wrote:Gavagai/Zanth, are you intentionally not finishing turn? I am not urging, but we are in turnsplit and we might need a pause if turn doesnt come to us soon.

I originally thought this meant OT4E (as it seems like he's running that civ now) was at war with Gav/Zanth (hereby referred to as GZ) too but I don't believe that's the case unless GZ was intending to attack OT4E at the same time as them attacking OH's team. He's right though, GZ logged in 6 times last turn and logged in 2 mins after OT4E finished his turn. Feels like some clock shenanigans are going on and I hope the lurkers are wagging their fingers/toes/eyebrows and any other body part they like to shake appropriately.

My 3rd city Upper Dicker was founded. If you're wondering where I'm getting these city names from I'm perusing this page.

http://www.anglotopia.net/ultimate-list-...ace-names/

And here's a shot of my mediocre empire.

Researched writing a turn ago and I'm quickly grabbing fishing before looking towards maths to unlock hammans and hanging gardens.

SB has a granary and is working on its library.
NW is about to finish its granary and will put a couple of turn into a library before growing to size 4 and then it'll whip out a settler.
UD is getting a granary etc.

Next settling spot is probably the spot 3S of UD since it can immediately work the corn and get developed faster, after that I'm likely going further south to secure my horse since I won't have iron working for a while so can't clear the jungle to the N.

My scout is still alive, he beat up a Lion and headed south along the coast.

Thought I would've found borders around my scout by now, that barb city feels like something I can putt of for longer.

Bunch of barbs interrupting my serene life.

I used some recent whip overflow to get an axe built so he'll deal with one of the invaders, the NW barb has refused to take a swing at my warrior for a couple turns but now that I'm blocking him this directly I hope that he'll give me some easy experience. The capital started work on settler #4 and I plan to send that SW. Current settler is going to found Lower Dicker in 2 turns.

Tech wise I've been saving gold to push through for Maths to get Hammans and hopefully the Hanging Gardens, I only have one more forest to chop in my capital but it still may be the fastest city I have to build it. I haven't put much thought into tech beyond this yet except for getting calendar relatively soonish.

I might choose to go after the barb city after the next settler is built. it depends how much of a priority I put on IW. Barb city is protected by warriors so axes can break the city just fine.

These are my demo's when I'm more commerce focused as I am right now.

Also scout is still running around but hasn't found anything really.

It was known.

Bloody sea bandits.

Offered them peace for them returning Upper Dicker. They can't hold it unless they ship a lot more units this way. In fact I was very surprised they didn't raze it. Both cities have been whipped and have chops coming in so can have 4-5 units ready to retake the city in a few turns. I can protect both the copper and capital I think.

Well my combat luck is horrendous... rolleye

My situation is hopeless now in terms of being vaguely competitive, unless the Viking team keeps getting very lucky with combat rolls they won't eliminate me but at this point its pretty much at the stage of hit end turn for the next however many months until someone invades me seriously.

Well things went the other way this turn, and my combat luck was good. Both Viking units killed and unless they bring reinforcements I'll raze the city since its size 1 without culture. I'll refound it in a few turns providing they take peace. Otherwise I'll settle the horse spot and then take out the barb city.

The city was once size 2 so it won't autoraze I think.

I assumed they were working a coast tile to stop it from growing and being recapturable but like most things, I'll confess to not being an expert on civ mechanics.
