Pitboss 39 Organizing Thread

Based on those who have spoken up, there is a majority agreement on the follow settings

1) RtR
2) Map trading only allowed at Paper
3) No city trades
4) No messaging - except for fish-for-fish type
5) Events + Huts Off
6) Snakepick

Please do post if you have any big issues with the above.

I am not so sure about 4). Some wanted the same settings as in PB38 where any communication via the trading window is not allowed.

I think the preferences for messaging through trade screen are:

1. JR4 -Allowed fish-for-fish type only, Banned for iron-for-iron type
2. yuris 125 - Allowed Fish for fish / iron for iron / gold for gold
3. wetbandit - Allowed for all?
4. ipecac - Allowed for all
5. Ghostpants - ????
6. Charriu - Banned for all
7. Dark Savant - ????
8. Superdeath - ????

We could use more input on this issue.

My preferences for messaging through trade screen are probably fish for fish, but nothing else. I think that means friendly/peaceful intentions, or am I sorely mistaken?

Also, full disclosure, I figure it's too early to matter but I opened Charriu's thread without thinking (used to being a lurker), then closed it again as soon as I realised what I was doing. Didn't see anything, promise!

@Ghostpants: Fish-for-Fish deals are generally interpreted as "let`s be friends". It`s not a binding agreement but do expect people to behave as being stabbed if you break such a deal.

Thanks JR4, that was my understanding, yeah. Ok so I'm in favor of fish-for-fish,but no other trading 'codes' personally. Not a huge deal is we don't do that though.

I'll basically roll with whatever everyone else prefers -- I trust other people's judgment enough not to rock the boat, as anything I feel strongly about that shouldn't exist is already banned anyway.

Well, I see that more people are in favor of fish-for-fish only. Although I said "ban all" I think I can live with fish-for-fish.
