So how about we assemble a team of 5 RBers and team up against the bot tonight to judge the I awesomeness. smile

The matchmaking disguises how bad the majority of LOL players actually are smile I think the bots will hit their target audience quite well. Personally when I tried DOTA, I preferred AI to human matches too since most of the community in that game shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

You guys weren't here when they announced that they'll be banned all SEAsians from their game... 75% of the SEA members complained, 50% of the NA members complained, and not a single one of their staff replied to the huge thread, which had well over 3k posts (and that time it was still new).

Imagine that they banned us for a freaking long time, tell us that they'll be releasing the SEA server "soon", in 2009. It just came out end of 2010.

Most of us said it before that they don't even have good customer support, and up till now... their priorities are still screwed up i guess. Even now in their forums they still won't answer a lot of questions.

Edit: Even now people in Indonesia can't play i think. Not a good start.

Personally I just wish Riot would be more informative to the fans. I see just the sheer amount of time that Blizzard spends talking with their subscribers, even to stupid winy kids, (each thread there is one that a blizzard employee has posted in), and just how transparent they are (and how honest they are about the stuff they arn't telling us) and it makes me sad.

To be fair, Activision-Blizzard are in the top 5 of big publishers in North America and Riot is pretty tiny.

Shouldn't that make it easier for them to communicate with their subscribers?

Found an interesting link in an LoL blog:

http://lol.zone.gamebase.com.tw/zone/lol/skin_view

It's a web-based 3D viewer for all champion skins. Great if you are planning on purchasing some.

Probably not because you'd be prioritizing devs over CR guys. I mean, someone has to make all those new skins and champs right rolleye. I mean, if they hired a guy to trawl the forums they couldn't give the guy who's primary job is to draw all the cleavage shots of the female champs big bonuses right?

Smaller companies tend to have more transparency when it comes to communicating with their fanbase because they don't have CR guys so the devs will post on the forums more instead.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying- yet compair Riot's contact to Blizzard's, where their head designer, as well as several other non-public relations people are talking with the fans on a day to day basis, discussion their direction and plans for the game, and often being positively influenced by it. Just a totally different feeling.

Coming from the SCII community, I can say that they don't put the real devs out there for us. They have various blizzard CR guys that roam the wasteland that are the Bnet2.0 that get to moderate through all the whine and bad. No one really pays attention unless there is a patch blue post.

Well I'm coming from WoW, where it's quite a bit different, strangely so. Apparently it's something that sprung up during the 2008 expansion beta and has continued on since. Say what you will about the game it's self, but the day to day conversation is pretty neat.

Has anyone used the recorder much? It was interesting to look again at that last, really frustrating game we played today. If anyone wants it I can post the replay file. Such a low kill game, just crazy.
