Plako came up a great idea that involves getting Music in about 6 turns and popping the GA to time it with Feud research + revolt.

Building wealth everywhere. Maxing out overflow to Music so that it should be 2T tech for us after finishing Aesthetics+Literature. If we manage to get Artist I'll launch Golden Age.

Lord Parkin is not fully following our deal. He promised us either ivory or gems for 10T at the latest T130. I asked them previous turn, but he didn't bother to offer them while logged in and now when I offered the deal in the beginning of the turn he still didn't accept it. Not best mindset to initiate chat wink

We got our 3rd unattached GG. I'll settle them on some coastal city that will also be our future Heroic Epic city.

What a douche. So he won't give you gems since he only has 1 source and he doesn't want to give you Ivory for SoZ...

TBH - SoZ is a very nice wonder if in your situation seeing as anyone who wants to fight with you is going to have added WW.

I had further chats with Lord Parkin and apparently he has just finished Literature and considers to continue towards Music. He'll probably beats us, if his effort is serious one. I'll cancel our effot and focus on getting Forges, Courthouses and Markets up. I'll research Feudalism normally next after we turn on the slider again.

Of course we don't really hold that against you since we were #1 for a while and we still may be #1 in the long run with WarriorKnight's land (well 66% of it since Rego threatened us into diplomacy for the other 34%).

However, we aren't going to regain our lead again any time soon. In fact, we are starting to lag behind in tech since Parkin and Rego have been left to farmer's gambit with bureaucracy and pool their collective plotting against us. I'm not sure how much of the map you've seen of their land but they are deceptively weak as a good chunk of their territory is mired in jungle unlike our rolling grasslands - better long term cottage cheese potential then our grass and hills. Heck, we know that one of them is bee-lining towards music to fire off a GA too. If you don't believe us, just wait a few turns

So I suppose we aren't really talking to you to deal or anything today. We are just asking that you keep an open mind and not commit to anything rash. You aren't doing badly yourself and wouldn't want to throw it away running 1/2 way around the world just for our high XP longbow garrisons would you? Atleast not when people are off teching away to their heart's content. You don't really strike me as someone's attack dog so I hope you continue to play to win rather than sacrifice yourself for those who are further ahead.

PS - With the way WK was playing, I don't think that an intervention 15 turns ago would have been particularly useful unless you wanted to throw units away. Losing your HA stack in the first 3 turns of war is well...

As for luddite, I suppose we should chat each other up as equals for a long-term cooperation pact against Parkin or atleast tell each other if we hear anything.

As for Adlain, we should also see if it is okay with him that we are trying to get Moogle to got for SoZ to deny it to Mr. GNP #1. Of course ask him before we actually send it.

So it sounds like the secret plako-parkin pact of secrecy and cooperation is now over?

Would you say his refusal invalidates all, part, or none of the agreement(NAP and otherwise) you had?

LP provided us gems this turn. He was apparently quite afraid that we take SoZ because he has only 1 source of gems. During the negotiations he sent us another mass post sent by Locke. I'm surprised how much they fear us when clearly LP is in stronger position.

Other parts of the NAP are still valid i.e. Until T200. I just cancelled the extension to T220.

Do you want to try and convince Locke to stop being stupid or just let him be?

I don't think I saw the mass Locke post. As for LP, I really don't know. I don't think its going to last too much longer unless LP stops with the games. -_-'
