[SPOILERS] Cornflakes and Q Eat 'Em for Breakfast!

I started playing the turn and moved most of our units. But the game was really lagging, so when I saw "waiting for BRickAstley to join" I decided to do him a favor and log out. The issue was on my end and easy to fix, but requires me logging out. We have 2 different broadband providers at my home since the coverage in my area is so bad, and I happened to be connected to the wrong one this evening rolleye

I could log in and finish now on the other provider, but I'll wait until the morning in case you want to take a peek and change something.

Quote:Villages/towns are probably too valuiable to discard completely, I view new cities/conquests (hammer) as being where we WS everywhere.

This is true. Let's keep the cottages that we have and turn Azzaland into HammersGalore.

We actually have enough gold to burn through Machinery next in 3 turns continuing at our current burn rate (assuming the GA ending doesn't slow us down more that Bureau speeds us up, but I'm hoping they'll just about break even).

Made a slight alteration to the plan above: I'm getting the galley our of Porcupine first to ensure that it has enough time to travel to the staging tile before the maces arrive and we put our Blue Dot plan into action.

Game is paused, so I might as well post this in case you're online since I'm stuck in diplo. Your thoughts? I say yes. I already tried Theology for Music two or three turns ago and he turned it down, so we might as well.

AT jumped in quick and unpaused, so I accept the trade.

Bureaucracy came in on the last turn of the GA jive ... I was sweating about the timing a couple turns ago, but we squeaked it out with 1 turn of 100% gold left in the bank, which I put towards Machinery. With Doughnut on wealth this turn and next we can knock out Machinery in just 2 more turns.

These are Post-GA demographics, with bureaucracy in place yup ... our MFG took a big hit with the end of the GA.

AT stole the pigs from Blimp this turn frown Library comes in 2, Confu monastery should probably be whipped next, overflowing into Buddhist monastery.

Otherwise everything is running smooth. Azza has retreated out of sight. I whipped Grand Slam last turn. I'm building wealth this turn so that we can regrow at EOT before starting a worker/settler. I think worker first, then settler. We're out of tiles for Grand Slam and Doughnut with only 1 worker in the area, so a new rice city won't do much good ... plus Postos Village is getting good use out of the rice with at least 4 more pop to the happy cap.

Azza might have caused some trouble in the east with his shock chariots if he'd approached through the fogged tiles (yellow), especiall with that Barb axe in the lead to wound our axe first. Instead he kindly put his chariots where I could see them. I brought two impi down from the 2metra border (benefits of Zulu smile).

I decided to just get Machinery in 3 turns so we can use the hammers from Doughnut.

Growing Porcupine before we can build maces in 3 turns ... I'd actually like to continue growing with corn and cows. Two workers are farming the tiles north or Porcupine now.

GS grows this turn. Next turn I'll start a settler. This settler will be for Blue Dot across the water near Azza and'll probably be 2-pop whipped.

Sorry for absence.
Get doughnut off those coast tiles (whip a lighthouse probably).

The barb would've killed azza.

Doughnut just grew onto one of the coast tiles this turn, and the other came from transferring the southern cottage over so the GS could grow (+2 food compared with working a scientists). I'm waiting to whip those extra pop into maces in 3 turns.

If Azza ended turn on either of the two yellow boxed tiles this turn (rather than the southern tile) he would still be safe, right?

I know, but even as temporary tiles wed probably be better off whipping now and regrowing...unfortunately im really pushed for time and can't log in at all frown

Yeah, but what would he gain from that?

After the fact but theology wasn't worth trading for - we don't get any benefit for a dozen turns (at least...) so wed be better off waiting for it to devalue.

Commodore gave Machinery to Azza frown We get machinery in 2. Commodore also infiltrated us with a GSpy this turn  The priority for the next 50 turns is to digest Azzaland, and this'll necessarily impact GNP negatively, so he'll have to be patient if he wants to steal tech from us.

I swapped the capital to a more hammer focused configuration with the two GH mines and the copper mine. With bureau we'll be able to get a 3-turn settler out with the overflow. That'll be timed just about perfect when our first round of maces come online.
