Bombers flew strike missions against the units in Athens and Argos. I used 2 spies (1 died, 1 successful) to revolt Athens and then took both cities - I think I lost 2 99% battles. I also captured 2 workers. My culture bomb at Sparta filled in the territory with Indian culture so I was able to move up 6 infantry as city garrison (as well as the tanks that took part in the battle.

I moved 3 paratroopers next to Thebes (Greek capital) as well as moving 8 tanks and 3 cav to a hill that can hit Thebes. I also bombed down the defenses.

  only to find that I couldn't do it when I got there - arrg

Dreylin took Knossos and gifted it to me. I moved a tank over for protection. I also moved tanks deeper into Sooooo's territory (should capture at least 3 more cities next turn and 2 the following turn). He is currently down to 7 cities total.

I took his capital for the loss of 1 paratrooper after bombing defenses to 0% and knocking down the defending units to half strength.

I also started gifting flying units (fighters and bombers) to Dreylin. My cities are not producing any more units - they have started on spy buildings (my EPs at 0% at the end of the turn are over 300 per turn) and science. I will probably get all cities to knock out a worker in a few turns and start cottaging ex-Greek holdings.

I moved 3 paratroopers more paratroopers next to Sooooo's oil city - should fall next turn.

I think he is deleting workers so that I don't get them. I have 4 pinned behind his oil city - I'll see if they are there next turn.

The South East - should be mine next turn - that barbarian will be bounced as I have the Great Wall - wonder where he will go.


The middle - both should be mine in 2 turns


The North East - this is where I would have really liked to have those commando tanks ... as it is, I think it will take me 4 or 5 turns just to get to the door steps <sigh>
