Although now I'm tempted to ready every other spoiler thread, spoil others plans, and then tell everyone else: OOPS it wasn't explicitly detailed in the rules that I wasn't supposed to cheat so I did it.
But that's sour grapes for having a 3-on-1 dogpile and no real reparations ability.

I don't want to anger myself more about it. If he snooped around for a dozen of turns then this was propably after or during the dogpile. Even if it was before it wouldn't have changed much. The blame for the dogpile is totally on my side. I was falling behind and did some mistakes. That the others see the advantage and take it is not their fault. Also aren't dogpiles a fairly common thing here?
You have to see the bright side of things. Maybe I'm eliminated before the holidays. Then we have lot's of spare time for our families, while the others have to play on.

Looks like Elkad signed peace with Magic. Very interesting.

Forget my last post. For a moment I thought Elkad had the second half and I interpreted his first half movement as a sign for a stopped war. Silly me.

I already said it in the last report and also gave Elkad a open border agreement. But why not ask for a rice, sheep and ivory in addition to the open border agreement. For somebody who is last in place I get away with a lot of one sided deals.
Other then that not that many interesting things have happened. Some uninteresting unit movements from the others. Some optimizations in Sandworm to get another unit there. You know the usual stuff.

Another turn of quietly building away with nothing mayor happining. Here some small things I noticed:
- Superdeath moved a good chunk of his knights out of view.
- Superdeath already has Nationalism, while Shallow is still working on it
- Elkad did not accept my open border agreement
- I positioned an archer N of Sandworm to pillage the iron in case Superdeath starts moving towards me again.

Seems like I'm not up to date and Superdeath just took another city from, likely Sandworm.

Finally a turn with a bit more action. Shallow took another city from Magic (1W of the copper). My prediction is that this is the last city he takes from him. Superdeath also finished the Taj Mahal. I have to say he's gaining momentum again. The other should try to stop him while they can.
Oh and I got something wrong again. Elkad actually took my open border deals.
Back at home Superdeath razed Sandworm. Took him long enough to realize that it's not defended. I moved out my galley to pillage the crabs before he gets them. Then I had an idea, but I have to look what the rules say:
Quote:Blockades: Allowed.
Yes.
And how convinient that Wing Raptor has only access to one water tile.
Turns are getting a bit boring and with the open border from Elkad I had a great idea. I present to you:
The war correspondent.
He will take a good look at Elkad's territory and how fitting that he is a civilian.

Just as I expected Magic and Shallow are at peace again and propably for the rest of the game seeing as they soon share no border. Superdeath also switched out of Slavery. The big question is what will Shallow do next.
The war correspondent
I think first we will uncover all this mysterious Elkad land. Up there we see the solidified border between Elkad and Shallow.
