Apparently somebody heard me complaining about boredom and Shallow decided to attack Elkad. Finally some action. I still wonder though why these two go at each other. I don't think that Shallow planned on attacking Elkad, but rather that Elkad started moving units towards Shallow. It will be interesting to see how Superdeath will take advantage of this war.
Speaking of him, I remember complaining about him not naval-blockading my city. He must have heard me and started moving in a trireme and galley. I'm feeling confident with my garrision in Liquid Flame and started a trireme of my own. By the time he's at my doorstep I can hit him with them and I can also hide my ships in the lake up north.

Any thoughts on the garrison in Quigley Q?

It's the destroyed siege stack from him plus his knights. It's probably meant for his conflict with Elkad

Nice I take it.
And Elkad and Shallow are back at peace time, so much to some more action.
Shallow's garrision in Quigley Q is very low.
But not as low as Superdeath's in Wing Raptor.
That's why I took the chance to send out a small force (highlighted above) to the east. Maybe I can take back Wing Raptor. Superdeath also moved in his ships. I already finished one trireme and will finish another one next turn. I hid my trireme in the lake just as said before. With 3 triremes I should have a good chance at him. He can only start blockading me in 2 turns.
His ships should also not see my troops moving towards him. I doubt that there are 2 units in the galley. The only way he could see my troops is if he comes in or has a sentry near by. We will see.
Of course I will only be able to attack Wing Raptor in T209 so he has a turn to reinforce his garrison there. In that case I at least keep him occupied.

Looks like my plans of reconquista are not going to happen. First because Superdeath reinforced his garrison again and second because Elkad moved in to take my last city. Looking at his army I have no doubt that he manages to do so. I still want to finish my third trireme to smash them into Superdeath, just because I have them and then it's pikemen and macemen again. I think Elkad will take a few turns to bombard my defenses and then will start the attack. I just hope he manages to so before the new year and the inevitable server change coming with it.

Superdeath asked for peace again, which I again rejected. But the fact that he's now constantly asking for peace is a good sign. It means that the war weariness is hurting him and that is good.
So to no ones surprise Elkad is at my gates. I expect that he will take 1 or 2 turns to bombard and then will attack. Don't be fooled though it may say 60% defense on Liquid Flame, but I have a castle there and in the city screen it says 100%. Must be some kind of bug I suppose.
Superdeath also retreated his ships and I started chasing them. To my surprise there were actually 2 knights on the galley and one of them amphibious. I'm sorry Superdeath. I may not have done the best moves this game but I'm not totally stupid leaving my last city undefended.

This is it. This is likely my last report from the game so let's get to it.
Thanks Magic, but it doesn't matter anymore, because ...
...Elkad bombarded my defenses in Liquid Flame down to 7% and will attack and propabely eliminate me this turn. Superdeath retreated his ships further and I give chase although I won't get to my target in time.
To give a farewell to my dear lurkers I've prepared some more screenshots from the game for you enjoyment:

So some may have noticed it from civstats. I was eliminated this turn by Elkad. It's good that it ended now and did not stretch so far out. I still have a few things I want to address in the next weeks so the thread will still see some action. Namely these are the things I want to talk about:
- A last report of "Who is winning?"
- Analyse and talk about the mistakes I made.
- What's next after the game
