If that's what you counted, then yes. What is dismaying to me is the~ 8-9 units that we forgot to name.

At least we got to kill the GG medic. We could have taken a roughly 87% shot with our supermedic chariot to clean up another cuir but decided not to tempt fate. I wasn't seriously contemplating doing it, but the thought flitted in and out briefly. Greed is good bad.

So what's the best move when you've just annihilated your enemy's army with almost no losses, after spending the previous twenty turns converting everything in your economy to wartime production that has, as of yet, produced zero benefit? Would you:

Maybe we should leave a few of those phracts that are transiting toward Suttree in ML and HF? Meh, can't burn Suttree's cities by parking cataphracts in our capital. We have to park them in his capital.

I had a look around the border between Oxy and Suttree:




I moved the sentry phract out of view, but he can skirt the border and fall back again next turn. I think we should send the chariot back up north to scout the vacant neutral zone. Or leave the chariot along the Oxy/Suttree border and send the phract back north after he makes a good pass through this area. The chariot can see the border area well enough, but we will have bad coverage of the neutral zone without the sentry unit up there.

So what's new in the world this turn?




Halvgud the Sisub died, looks like Molach picked up Gunpowder, Oxy added Machinery (evidence of which was seen in the field with his instantly free promoted GG morale Maceman), William saved 439 gold in a turn (who can do THAT???), Retep saved 496 gold this turn....and Suttree added 422 gold this turn. OK, so these guys clearly haven't built enough units because their economies are still functional. We're still losing 30 gpt at 0% science (I'm building wealth at I Burn). But we're mighty! And we're going to burn things!

Yeah, so we're last in GNP even with the wealth build...behind KURO who is still trying not to die (and is steadily eating IMP XP and creating great generals). But that power number is crazy. Regard:




Too bad we won't do anything useful with it. If William or someone would gift us a stack of galleons I have an idea of where I might send our phracts, and I don't mean to France. Speaking of help, I begged cash off William, Oxy, and Wetbandit during my turn. Wetbandit declined it, he was logged in at the end of the turn when I was and I didn't see a completed deal. I had offered a spare fish to each of them for 10 gpt. Come on guys, help us out. We want to fight Retep for you! He's going to win the game without intervention and he hasn't even been tested in battle. Let's find out if he can fight off a tsunami of highly promoted cataphracts. If he can, great, go win the game. If not, maybe one of the other guys can have a chance. I think old crappy Byzantium is all the balancing that Retep's England got on this map, he should at least have to face one adversary before the game ends.

Now about those galleons I spotted.... We'll see what comes of that.
