Yeah that's bad. We're definitely right at the south pole. Our only hope is north. If it makes us feel any better, there's someone out there who has one less land tile than we do so maybe we're not the only ones stranded on some awful island. Not that that helps anything.

The GLH was nerfed to only add 1 TR per city. It's still good, just not as good. I'd love to get it, but I'm not sure we can. We need to plan. If we want colossus we'd want Oracle. Scooter and I need to sit down and really hash out a plan.

Yeah GL would still be nice for us and would be huge if we got any open borders at all... Basically we need to decide Colossos vs TGL - and I lean towards Colossus pretty hard. Even if it wasn't nerfed I would lean Colossus, but especially so now. And yes, if we want Colossus we must get Oracle.

Even if TGL was slightly better than Colossus, just getting Metal Casting is a big deal - mainly because it lets us build 3 move (post-Lighthouse) Triremes. So that's my thinking right now. But yes, we probably need to have a chat sometime and nail down our plans. Even if there is land up north, I think Oracle -> MC -> Colossus should probably be our gameplan regardless due to sheer number of water tiles, so we need to plan accordingly. We're racing 2 Industrious civs. I really hope one of them is inland (most people will be coastal so both being inland is probably a pipe dream)... So yeah, once borders pop and we see a bit more, I'll try to sketch together a plan. Ideally I think we should be trying to get 1 settler out and then build Oracle immediately after that.

(Feel free to argue against Oracle -> MC -> Colossus if you dislike the idea)
