They figured it out some time ago, but didn't figure out how to protect him, so their Settler became an English worker (and is very happy about it!)

The despicable Aztec, those same that built wonders you coveted, are at war with me right now. They are imperialistically trying to prevent me from reclaiming my ancestral lands occupied by city-state of Helsinki. Despite being allied with half a dozen of other city states.

Seven, in whole seriousness, I could just request some gpt from Dave in game ( which I didn't ) while denouncing you as city-state hog that's in war with me here and the effect would be exactly the same. And for all you both know I could just have tried to scam some money off him.
*The majority* of messages in this thread carry information that can be used for coordinating your actions in the game, most of which would not be available to some of us otherwise. If you want to be all legalistic on such a fuzzy concept as a banter thread you're welcome to.

Something obviously went wrong here; you seem dissatisfied with how things are.
This game is supposed to be AI diplo, but we added a banter thread for talking to your enemies. If you want to ask for gold, yeah, do that in game. That's great!
