Well the problem is I think it might have worked TOO well since I got 9 replies for 2 cities that need to be named, meaning it'll be a long time before I can try this stunt again .
Also, I think I win style points if this flurry of lurker activity is enough for another player to start writing paranoid posts speculating that I'm attacking somebody right now. I can only hope.

T19 expands the empire, renames cities
Our empire has finally expanded:
I'll name cities in order of your posts. Dazed settled his second city in the same spot:
Not a surprise. Here's the breakdown on tile sharing between the cities. First, Statistics:
I want a WB here so I'm going max hammers. Nice thing is the free border pop means I get those fish in soon, and lake fish is always pretty cool. So yeah, to get the WB as fast as possible I grabbed the highest hammer tile from History which is perfect. This leaves History like this:
Doesn't slow the settler at all. Also, here's a closer look at where I'm going to settle next:
I can share rice to get it going, and from there I'll have corn (I'll need chain-irrigation there), cow, lumbermill, plains hill plant, a river, and five forests. This would be a nice spot to chop out oracle actually. After this I'll need a few workers, but as you see I have a worker on the capital forest there which will chop into a worker after the settler comes out. Then the capital will need to grow - though I'm admittedly kind of stalling until I can get Pottery and build a granary. Anyways, an oddity in the top cities:
I think that's Pindicator @ sz2 based on score, but it could be Yuris. Either way, I'm not sure that's real ideal given the easy access to improved tiles at the capital. Dazed is pushing vertical, so he certainly didn't go settler-settler. Probably a good move given his Supermarket bonus. Seeing Seven at size 3 is slightly odd because I thought he was at 4 previously. Sounds like a whip to me, though I didn't get a slavery notification. So maybe he just hasn't gotten to 4. Not a huge deal.

This only works if I'm playing.

Apparently. This subforum was silent other than my thread with the exception of Pindicator's recent post (right after he passed the save along so probably just a turn report), so I guess nobody was particularly freaked out. Maybe I should have waited a bit longer to bait for lurker posts when an attack is a more plausible thing... It's not like my neighbors are terrified of me scout-rushing them.

Neuroscience.
Also, now I believe you're obligated to found at least as many cities as majors supplied, so I'd get to work on that.
Nothing to see here.

Planning on it! If I get too many responses I may have to conquer a couple and rename, but there's lot of room for cities on this map.

T20-21 continues expanding
Dazed missed another turn, so a bit slow here. But here's the last two turns. First, I went exploring around Dazed:
Figured I could be annoying - attacking scout on a forest hill is awful risky and I wanted visibility. Settler finished EoT:
Coming along nicely. Next turn, Dazed built a warrior so time to get out:
I guess I'm happy he didn't build a WB already? This is the downside of Darius for him - no border pop here at this city. So anyways I got out of there with my scout. Still think him attacking would be dumb, but I'm not going to dare him. Back home:
Following up that settler with a 2T worker as the chop will complete it next turn. End of turn, Statistics borders popped. Fun trivia - that settler that is chopping right now is chopping a forest that happened to grow there. I'm just glad it's a forest and not a jungle . Kinda nice to get some free hammers.

T22 re-invents the wheel
Or I suppose this counts as the original:
Relatively awesome. On to Pottery! Overview:
City about to to be settled, WB + worker complete EoT, all is well. Demos:
Ok almost all is well. Nevermind those demos. They aren't important unless they say I am doing well, in which case they are of utmost importance. Like that whole land area thing - CRUCIAL. The rest, not so much.

T23 begins studying the law
This was important, because we do have certain laws in our country.
Fact: Vikings freaking LOVE signs. This is indisputable. So let's walk through the three cities and make sense of how to juggle tiles:
This will swap back to growing next turn I think, but I wanted to dump the 10h into a worker instead of a 1T warrior that I don't really need. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm thinking about sticking with this and THEN growing when I build a granary once Pottery comes in. That seems like a sensible plan. Maybe. Statistics:
Note: WB ended on the fish, so it will be improved next turn. Anyways, it's growth time here.
Growing here as well. SUCK, I forgot to revolt to slavery. Suck suck suck. I am terrible at this game. Argh. Whatever. This scout will probably be used as a sentry of some sort. It's sort of a growth placeholder admittedly. Overview:
Finally building some roads. Also going to chop another forest - that'll probably go into History - either worker or granary or something along those lines. Finally, 3 city demos:
Wish I had some sort of clue on if I'm first to 3 cities. But I don't. And my hunch is that I'm not, but who cares. As long as I own them all eventually.
