Hey!
Sorry retep, that I miscommunicated in my general post, I actually got cut off half way through typing the reply, every time I've gotten to an internet connection, i've been cut off from poor connectivity before I could say that I meant to say September, not August.
It looks like you're doing quite well with what you started with from me. What did you think of our situation when you took over, I'm curious?

Well you seemed to be going for a verticall game, while I'm more of the type of horizontal grow.
Things were good but eastwatch/GJ had a more strong opening, but you were doing pretty good, although which such awesome capital more satelites cities around the capital would have been good.
Cottaging the capital was/is the best idea the problem is the lack of happy which is was/is my main concern. Missing a religion has hurt a lot too.
Right now the tech situation is delicated, I'm not to worry though. This been RtR runing away is harder and more land is much more important than tech.
Not to mention that you have the weaker neighbours.
I'm really happy that you come back, this game pace is killing my soul. 6 days for a turn is just wrong. If you want a can play one last turn to take pictures (I don't have any now) and explaing was I was doing. If you want to take over immediately that will be great too.
Also pbem60 ended in the anticlimatic AP victory. I was and idiot and vote for Ruff to win even though I didn't want to.
Actually I guess is pretty funny. Chance of victory was 30% at best behind Molach anyway.

Super quick how I'll play this turn
Worker over thebes moving to farm the wheat
Worker east of sparta finish the cottage
Workers in the FP finsih the farm. The farm is usefull to put a city in the blank spot (with forest to hoepfuly chop something awesome)
Worker over the capital making cottages.
The capital take both food this turn and the next (only if you revolt to budhism) 2t later it should be size 10 and working all cottages
I have left to forest in there to chop someting.
Athenas should be building a unit (chariot or phalanx)
Sparta and athens should shift tiles, Sparta probably start a setller or Breakfast could take the pigs work 2 scients and Sparta would work the cottages.
Argos whip the granary this turn. Orange finish the workboat for the clans in the north and start in a unit or galley (probably a unit to put in the galley for zone defence)
Planting cities in the center island actually give you gold keep that in mind.
Corithians could build other thing but wealth isn't so bad right now (to get calenda asap which is worth to inst happy)
Demos
Don't be scare of German high score he has tougher competition and is kind of block for more cities.

Well, you already have an awesomw ded-lurker in Von. I'll of course ded-lurk too but keep in mind I won't really have much time for another moth at least, so I just pop from time to time!

So I played this turn. This is what I did Hashoosh.
Since I don't know if you are going to pick next turn I didn't know what to do with the overflow from the things that finish this turn. So i build wealth instead to save the hammers.
I was conflicted about turning research or not because I don't know for what you were saving gold for but in the end I decided to try to finish calendar.
Next turn you finish calendar and you can arrange the cities (especial care to the capital) to have 8 cities growing next turn. I move some workers over the silk to road next turn and conected asap after calendar. You should be expanding more so I put some hammer in a settler over Darjeling. I think you shoudl do the same Ceylan and whip a settler there.
Green tea doesn't really need a library or at least you need other things right now. I would ise the city to get units to suport more cities to the south.
Also in Irish B. finish the barracks normally and put the chop into a granary.

Well in order to get the save you need to: bitch a lot everywhere, send pms, send emails, post in the tech thread and after all that you get a save in 3 days.
If you don't do that you get a save every week.

This may some awfull for me to say but I'm going to say it anyway.
I'm certain that at this point my chances of winning this game are 90%. Just a matter of execution I think, the only way I see I don't win this is if Hashoosh come back and take this game away from me. Then Hashoosh wil win because there is seriously no way to lose at this point.
Anyway in the end the turn pace kind of help me since now I have basically no time to play anymore, playing a turn everyone 5-6 games take a lot of presure of me and gives a lot of time to think.
