In other news ... Lamingtons are from New Zealand, not Australia.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I am at a loss for what to do with this piece of information. :D

Tell an Australian friend and watch them turn red with anger and indignation. The US has its hot dogs, England has its meat pies (which Australian love too), the Germans have their ham and cheese ... the Australians have their lamingtons. They are a delicious cake contraption that are a staple of growing up in Australia. Every parent and child has participated in raising money via the famous lamington drives!

T15:

Paul Revere popped only 33gold. Left him with one movement point unspent.

The other scout in the east managed to snatch 50gold before Q's scout moved.

Not the best of yields but grabbing that hut from Q that close to his capital counts as some success.

Thx mh. I woke up this morning worrying about Q grabbing that hut before we did ... so I logged in and tasked the scout (Peter) to move when the turn rolled. One big benefit of being the first civ is that (I think) the turn roll will move our units first.

BTW - what resolution do you have on your screen? Your screenshots are showing more info than mine. I can just fit the 33 leader scoreboard under the time.

And is that another bloody sheep I see in that picture?

The scout in the east did not move automatically.
Paul Revere (scout west) I moved first then switched to the scout in the east. I could see the pathing but he did not move on his own (might be it does that movement end of turn?).

Were you aware of Q's scout?

My screen is 1920x1200. Is that not quite standard for non-laptops by now? wink

I was not aware of Q's scout. I was fearful that there might be a scout that could grab that hut before we could move. Well done you for logging in early.

1920x1200 is the same as my work screens. I think my home screen (which is many years old now) is lower.

Turn 16 - 3360BC:

I moved Peter to the plains hill where Q's scout was (he had moved onto the forest tile with Peter). This showed ...

We have met our 2nd civilization. Caledorn has 26 EPs against the lurker civ. I think that means that he didn't fully re-direct their EPs when they met Q(?). Caledorn has 38 against Q (he has 48 EPs against Caledorn). Maybe they met 5 turns ago and Caledorn is still running EPs against the lurker civ?

If all of that is right ... then Q knows someone else too. Remember, he only has 4 turns of EP against the lurker civ.

In other news ...

... the 2nd religion has fallen. I have added in the Civ that got it. We don't know them (yet).

Finally - Paul jumped into our capital to heal (4 turns). Better than standing still and healing (5 turns) ... 1 tile closer to where he is heading, no cost in healing time.

Really final - all other aspects of The Plan are on track.

Ok - very last item ... home screen resolution is 1680x1050. Saving for a bigger screen.

Caledorn's scout ran away. The lion now has a choice of 2 ... attack Peter, not attack Peter.

I also notice that the Top 5 cities in the demo screen is going to be a Top 4 for a while. The #1 is the lurker city ... Airship Two. Three (3) people have grown their capitals to size 2. Boston will be size 2 at the end of T17.
