I can't believe there is a further difficulty here... but it says the game is paused by Q (which is me, I guess). But I can't unpause the game. Any ideas? I tried pressing the Pause button on my keyboard but with no luck...

I do not know how to say this. This game is so frustrating already, so I'm just going to out with it.

I can play my save but when it saves the next turn, its bugged. The same error as before. The game has a different name now (as it was started by Yuris, rather than Qgqqqqq) but somehow the map is corrupted or something.

I am out of ideas. This was supposed to be fun and I know this is nobody's fault. In fact, a few folks have worked darned hard to ensure this works, without success unfortunately. I don't know if we need to start again with a new mapmaker if Qg's computer has somehow corrupted it as he theorised? Or if it's just bad luck? I need to go to bed now but I'm baffled.

Distressing. TBH I'd be happy just rolling with a randomly generated map (with "balanced resources" set), but I am content to continue waiting for either someone else to take a shot at making a map (sorry Qg, I know you put a lot of time into this) or for someone to fix the current save file (it seems like it should be simple to generate a working one if the WB file isn't corrupt...).

Ok, I think I sorted it out. See attached. Password should be empty
@Q: the problem was with the starting year in the worldbuilder save, it was set to StartYear=1 - which should be appropriate for FFH, but not for BTS. I changed it to StartYear=-4000

Sorry, spoke too soon, I tried to end turn, and the save the game created is 0 bytes again. I'll see if there's anything else I can do

(I actually knew the calendar was the problem, but I thought it was an issue attached to my game files, rather than directly to the WB save, because I made some changes to them for FFH to create that change in EitB. Still need to identify where those changes need to be fixed.)
