Workers from iron I send to the forest to the W from Llamas and road there. They will start farm when the borders pop. If religion comes to chickens then we probably need to build culture in Llamas, because we need to expand borders quick.
Chickens builds workboat if no religion, no hurry with theatre.
Goats builds wb, overflow on library (with religion)

Llamas will need theatre later, but imho it is ok to just save overflow for settler first.
Did you put Engineer back in Lhamas? It is often replaced to merchant when you switch to wealth.

Ah, gotcha; the goal of next turn is to complete the trade network so that the Missionaries can get where they need to go ASAP.

Erm. I /think/ that I confirmed that, but I can't be 100% sure. If you have a chance to log in and check, it would probably be good; I don't want a careless mistake to add risk to the plan. I probably shouldn't have played so late last night, but I wanted to get in incase there were any questions. Hopefully the turn roll will move a bit earlier so I'm a little bit more conscious while playing..!

I will log in and check it in a few hours, I doubt it rolls before.

Opened the turn to a trade screen:
Scooter (Sullla): Montezuma (Agg/Spi) of Germany
I didn't accept, but we may want to counter-offer since they don't appear to be our neighbours. Met their Explorer in the North:
Pic from after I'd moved on and encountered Donovan/CH's borders. Cheater Hater & Donovan Zoi (greenline): Peter (Exp/Phi) of India
Also when I moved the Explorer in the SE I ran into Willem:
Gaspar&NobleHelium (Old Harry): Darius (Fin/Org) of the Dutch
I hadn't realised Old Harry was deding them; looks like you're 3/3 starting next to him OT4E!
A civics comparison (only Monty is SPI):
Both other SPI have adopted their Religions, so I went ahead and did the same.
We are Christian, BTW, in Chickens:
The only way to get both Missionaries out in 2t was to hie the Engineer for 2t:
Should get us there exactly, if at the expense of a slight contamination of the GP pool.
Turn has rolled, so I'll be back in a bit....

Chickens on track:
Overview:
I messed up with the Worker 1S of Llamas last turn and put 1t into a Mine rather than finishing the road. This is very annoying since we could have used it and Worker 2 (highlighted) to finish Pasturing the Pigs this turn. I guess we still put W2 down there this turn to finish the Pigs next turn and then they can split to Deer (and Gold?).
Missionary to Goats and start the Library with OrgRel bonus? (although that wouldn't be much since I set to max food)
Popped borders at Llamas; do we need to road W of Llamas, or can we move the Workers straight to Sheep to start Pasturing? Start to slow-build the Theatre, or put some hammers into whippable Military?

Also, I have family visiting off and on for the next 3wks, which may affect my time available to play and report in the evenings, although work is pretty light at the moment so daytime discussions are open.

Oh it is my fault, I didnt check that we are short in hammers. I said that in tests I maximize hammers while building worker, but was sure that we had enough. There was a backup plan to buy missionary on the 2nd turn from scratch, it costs 144 only, but I guess we shall not over dramatize that we so not get 100% GP this time.
Lets do theatre in LHamas.
Lol, it seems that I have underestimated your trust in mines. :D
The main priorities now are:
- improve food
- get luxuries
- make farms.
There is almost no point in mines now, neither we have many extra worker turns. We cant let our cities stop growing, we need to get them to the maximum size asap. Keep in the mind that we dont even start chopping soon, we will have most of forests around the Chickens chopped almost at the same time not to stifle its growth much while producing settler.
Unfortunately I have no time for tests till the week-end. Hope we are still able to follow the schedule.
