Guys you can't really snake easily with points - if your civ goes and it was going to be India, and inca have gone then you will have wasted lots of points on rubbish traits and not be able to get a decent leader. Really if you have points then you kinda need to have duplicates... The points mean that once your first choice goes you are limited in to what you can pick quite heavily.

It's a risk. I'm sure that not everyone will go for Inca/India. Also if you really want one of them you can start by choosing the civ before taking the leader.

This is true. That being said, I am happy to cede to what REM thinks is best. If we're playing this as a mini-tournament with a balanced map, his suggestion is certainly the fairest. Whatever gets us closer to playing, I am happy.
