[Lurkers] WW #43 - The Great Wheel

Concur that Gaz did nothing wrong at all re: Mod quoting. I'd take Rowain's anger as a 'manufactured emotion' scum tell, but I'd then have to reduce the lean because it's Rowain...

Wow, 4 hours to go and the votes are completely spread out. Everyone aside from Fenn and Gaz has a vote sitting on them. By my count, Lewwyn is in the lead with a measly 2 votes. lol This is truly up in the air.

It has zero bearing on this game, but I'm curious. Is the consensus that if a Hider hides behind an SK they would die? The way I interpret that section is that scum and SK are different factions, so hiding behind scum would get you killed, but hiding behind an SK wouldn't. Thoughts?

I'd have thought, without reading the rules, that Hider would die. But if I was in the game I'd also re-read the rules smile

I'd tend to go with your interpretation but it's not ridiculous to think it works with an SK too

My thoughts are based on theme I guess. A scum is out in the open at night, doing his scum thing, so if a hider goes to hang out with him, he gets killed for what he has seen. Conversely, an SK is sneaky and discreet, so if a hider went to hang out with him there would be nothing to see, and no reason to kill him.

I want to reiterate, that this has zero bearing on this game, I was just curious based on what people were chatting about in game thread.

Again I probably would have checked again if I got the role, but my gut says SK would kill them.

If the players dont get clarity on the matter and make a false assumption though thats their fault

Lynching the claimed doctor when Gaz had a much safer plan... Not too impressed with the town's play today.
If you know what I mean.

Not over yet, Rowain may finally hang

Ah, I thought they had reached the deadline. Lynching Rowain is a much better play, even if I expect him to flip town.
If you know what I mean.
