If you can I either didn't know or forgot about it if I ever did know. I guess we can leave it up to BGN to test it if he's dissatisfied with the current password.

Oh I'm dissatisfied alright. Cheating on a poll is one thing. Cheating on a bet made in good faith after the fact is another. Xenu made the password gogators or some shit despite them getting beat soundly in the annual hate game in Jacksonville. I'm not typing that every time I play. This is disown your kin level of horseshit treachery. :rage:
So are you going to log in and change it? Be the change you want to see in the world!

I tried resetting the password in game and it didn't work. So I'm going to make the scout move, settle the city, and quit to AI so I can reclaim the civ and reset the password.
Ohhh...man just had a great idea...is it too late to ask for a civ color swap and restart? Would give us a chance to fix Rusten's combat 1 scout, too. Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
I want to change our civ color to red. Will go with our naming scheme.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
After much investigation and A/B testing, we'd like Russian red over Japanese red as it more closely aligns with University standards.

BGN claims to be working so here's what we have so far (units have not moved yet, pending decision on whether we can restart the game).
Obligatory glorious Mao head shot: Starting demographics prior to anyone playing during my first log in: I'm sure the end of turn or next turn's F9 shot will be more useful for deciphering how many water tiles etc people have, if we care about that level of detail. So...restart? [Y/N] Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Restart!
Civ claimed again, debt paid, let's play! Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
I moved Kirby Smart (our scout) to check the river to the east. I don't see anything to keep us from settling in place.
I did some camera flying and marked up the map with some observations from the fog. The two biggest finds are: the body of water to the NE seems to be fairly controllable if we put a couple of boats in it, as it seems to drain out north a fair distance kind of narrowly; and there appear to be many more forests to our north than in the area to the southeast, which seems to have a lot of jungle. You can see one jungle tile from the normal map view via tile bleed but the flying camera shows a lot more jagged shadows (jungles) and fewer pointy evergreen tree triangular shadows down that way. Elsewhere there is land (or an island) to the south across the southern bay/sea and also to the southwest, both fairly close to our visibility. Then there is more land far to the west across the sea. I don't know how far the land extends through the forests north of the starting area but I'm sure it's worth exploring very soon. If I had to guess from the very limited info I have at the moment, we're probably just north of the jungle belt in the northern hemisphere, but it's obviously very early to hazard anything more than a wild ass guess. BGN, what do you think? Settle in place seems like the best idea to me. I don't like wandering with my starting settler away from plains hill with food.
