WW35: Not Another TPS Report [Game Thread]

Unless AdrienIer is correct, and it prevents our Vig from shooting him. He would be a reasonable vig target I think, though I'm not sure I would pull the trigger myself if I were a vig. The next question I have in this line though; if there is a SK instead of a Vig, would Bob be a valid SK target, or someone the SK would pass on. That could inform the decision on whether or not to claim more than whether a Vig might shoot him.

Not advocating disclosure, just trying not to get lost in WIFOM territory.

Before it was:

6 votes: Bob (Jowy, AdrienIer, zakalwe, Meiz, Jkaen, dtay)
4 votes: dtay (Ichabod, Fenn, Qgqqqqq, Twinkletoes89)
4 votes: Twinkletoes89 (Jabbz, Azarius, Molach, Gazglum)

After it was:

6 votes: Bob (Jowy, AdrienIer, zakalwe, Meiz, Jkaen, dtay)
5 votes: dtay (Ichabod, Fenn, Qgqqqqq, Twinkletoes89, Jabbz)
3 votes: Twinkletoes89 (Azarius, Molach, Gazglum)

You took him from a possible contender to the lynch, to almost certainly not being lynched. I don't know why you're not getting that.

AdrienIer Wrote:1) a mafia could claim vig and lie about which night kills were his and so on. There's only one vig role so theoretically we could have none at all in the game.
2) Not sure how claiming is "confirmed villager". Novice claimed and even before Matt busted him I didn't think he was confirmed town.
3) Who was the better target then ?
4) The vig is a danger for mafia, Lewwyn's death will push that point even further in their minds. Without a mass claim on D3, and assuming Q gets killed tonight the vig is an obvious mafia target if revealed.
5) Again you're assuming the claim would be true. Which you can't be sure of.

We know that someone killed Lewwyn. If someone claims falsely that they did it, then they'll be shortly called out. Thus, we can assume innocence unless counterclaimed - and no SK/mafia in their right mind will assume that Dtay did the kill.

Vig should definitely have claimed yesterday, and should claim tomorrow at the earliest possibility. No, they shouldn't claim at night.

But it hardly matters, because I'm near-certain we don't have a vig.

I'm sorry but I have to comment on just how much I love that gif... and the show

But... There's the possibility that two different people targeted Lewwyn ? SK and Vig ? It sounds unlikely in probabilities but not so much psychologically.

I understand what you are trying to say. In my view however, only two people were being talked about at that time, and one was even to TT, the other was two votes ahead. The odds of TT being lynched when I switched was just this side of non-existent. Yes, I understand one person (I don't remember who and I'm too lazy to go back and look atm) was switching over to TT, but that was the only action he had in hours. So sure, I took him from remote possibility to unlynchable. But lets follow your what if all the way. I stayed, you came on board. Now he is at 6 votes, STILL behind bob. Still not getting lynched. Then you lose azarius, and it's 5, still no lynch. So yeah, there is no way I was focused on protecting the guy I spent 974 words building a case against (Yes I just went back and checked the # :P) It just doesn't make any sense.

OT: What movie/show is that from?

What's your point? A) it's very unlikely B) even if it is the case, the town play is certainly to claim. If you're counterclaimed then great! We know one of those two players is a SK.

So a SK is never going to counter claim, because that's stupid.

Why would a Vig shoot night one? It makes no sense to me unless we have a dangerous risk taker on our hands.

We all know there's a possibility of an SK out there, possibly two. If we have a multi-shot Vig (of which there can only be one) then the sensible option is not to shoot early on and see if two people die. If they do, then you know its likely a serial killer.
