Caster of Magic II Bug Reports!

Sure. It's the pop-up window. I copied the save file into the current version and the spook was over. It looks like I created this weird bug with a typo in a unit image name. Sorry for unnecessary troubles!

Further notes on the new Custom items Editor:
Manually naming an item is still not a good idea. The names are not saved after closing and restarting the game. If the entry in the text box is not confirmed with >Enter<, other item names can easily be overwritten by mistake with open entries using the scroll arrows. The Custom items screen can only be closed with >Ok< once all entries have been confirmed with the >Enter< key.

Maybe we should restore the error handling to close the game after a crash. I don't think the stability is still so bad that we need that as a feature for testing.
I'll check item names tomorrow.

Oh yeah. It was very stable. But something seems to have crept in with the recent changes. These times I used an unchanged fresh current installation. After a few turns the popup window appears and the screen freezes. This should be absolutely reproducible with the attached save file examples after pressing >Next<.

Yeah, not surprising, I've added several complex new features that were not tested.

It's crashing because you don't have a primary realm set on your wizard. It's because you have tied spellbooks but didn't pick specialist to trigger the selection menu. I'll fix that today.

15Jan2021 build.

BUG: Doom Mastery does not give Chaos Channels to newly built units, or do anything at all. Easy to replicate. Shift P, Doom Mastery, build a normal unit.

Loving the idea of the vials so far.

New Main Screen is also a huge win. TY And03131!

In this save, the next turn I fought Oberic in the city of Sludgehome, and Dwarf was killed by a Cocktrice. Even winning their items disappeared.

Stoning damage is irrecoverable, so if you didn't have 14 resistance then it's probably for that reason.

Which is why charmed (never fail a saving throw) is so valuable. Cockatrices are just red chickens without the stoning hazard.
