Krill Wrote:Guys, sorry, I misclicked a sentry chariot up by Indias' land, and I've seen some extra stuff compared to what I moved it last time. How doyou want to proceed?
Thanks for letting us know. I agree with Krill (as he told me via chat) that reloads are annoying for this reason
Krill's misclick near our land does have an impact, though not a catastrophic one. In a perfect world either Portugal (who requested the reload) or Egypt (who misclicked at our expense) would compensate us in some way. I'm not sure what is appropriate or even possible though, and of course (for better and for worse) we don't have a game admin for this RBP.
I guess I need to discuss with my team...

fwiw, I'd claim that it wasn't at Indias' expense (all that much, anyway): I know the location of an extra 5 units, and 3 other tiles, but I'd have seen all of that next turn anyway. The question is if the stack would have moved or not in that case. If it wouldn't I would not have gained an advantage. The simplest method rectify the game in this situation is that would have been to swiftly reload to the start of my turn and tell me not to fuck up again.
Other point is that I've misclicked (or mismoved?) next to Ottomans as well...

While India wishes the misclick had not occured, we know neither Portugal nor Egypt acted in bad faith. We are therefore willing to play on. Please note however that we are still considering our options in-game.

I commend the Indians for their pragmatic approach.

England has declared war on the Inca, and are in the 2nd half of the turn, unless the Inca wish to sign a quick peace.

Egypt declared on India and Ottomans and has claimed the second half of the turn.

Yeah...
Trying to not let my temper guide my words, we have the following:
Egypt DOW'd India + Ottomans after misclicking and seeing Indian units. EDIT: And claimed the 2nd half of the turn.
India + Ottomans DOW'd Carthage. EDIT: And claimed "after Carthage" in the new 3-way order.
At that point we have Egypt -> India/Ottomans -> Carthage. Other than India/Ottomans being two civs, this perfectly recreated the Egypt/England/France war, so there is some precedent in this game. Krill, being very gamey but very clever then DOW'd Carthage and demanded the first half of the turn. Unfortunately it appears to me Egypt did not secretly follow the desired turn order with Carthage last turn, moving units in the second half of the turn.
Therefore it appears to me that the order must remain Egypt -> India/Ottomans -> Carthage.
Let me say that while Krill will attack the rule set (because RBP2 has NO turn order gameyness and RBP1 is just full of it ) there is only an issue here because Egypt is acting really gamey about this whole process. Egypt DOW'd us and took the 2nd half of the turn this turn despite not making any attacks (at least on India) in what appears to me to be an attempt (successful!) to lock my units down. They then DOW'd Carthage, their ally, purely to prevent the same exact strategy they used versus France to be used against them.

I always said we needed a working ruleset.
However, I did not move any units after carthage played the turn, and I ended turn before them, so I do have the right to take the first half of the turn against them.
Also, you could teach Alastair Darling a thing or two about spin :b:

Update: My understanding is since only two hours are left in the turn we've paused the game, and India, Ottomans, Egypt, and Carthage have agreed to not move any units until we all agree to unpause. Right?
