It's the risk you take if you pick a civ with a scout start... Anyone who gets a scout start and goes worker first is asking for it as far as I'm concerned.

Now sure, giving everyone a warrior start isn't a bad idea, but it's not a must-have issue either.

It's not an absolute must-have, but (in my eyes at least) it makes the game more fair if huts are off. But each to their own.

Judging from some of the games I've read about around here and the apparent aggressiveness of some players, I'd rather make absolutely certain I keep my capital in the early game if I'm not going to get any significant side benefit from having a Scout.
