Nice try, but no.

Yeah that was our start tile. I didn't actually notice the lack of floodplain until I was looking at one of the screenshots I took with tile yields on. It's not a huge deal, there are plenty of good tiles to work.

He's a fool on a hill?

[if that is right, I, sir, love your puns!]

Also, just wanted to know that I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Malakim, so you have at least this lurker on your side. thumbsup

"The Fool on the hill sees the sun going down"

(note which direction he's facing)

+1 internets for you.

Thanks for the support. Varn's one of my favourites leaders for SP play, I just need to be careful about chasing all over the tech tree for all the shiny toys he can play with.

This was an eventful turn considering I only have two units and one of them is keeping perfectly still.

No lizards spawned on the ruins to the east so.....

There is some risk in exploring the ruin. It could spawn barbs, my Redshirt could simply disappear into the depths, he might get withered, plagued, poisoned or crazed. OTOH, if I get a positive result, the lair will be destroyed and I could pick up a nice goodie or two. If I spawn barbs, the Redshirt is toast but I'll have enough time to get a warrior or two built in GLT before they can arrive across all the desert. I think the risk/reward ratio is good enough to warrant exploring the ruin so.....

SCORE! jive jive

A great merchant. Awesome. I'll settle him in GLT for +1f/6 g (9! gold once God King is in). There won't be too many early game money worries. smile

(he'll currently bulb Agriculture, at 79 beakers this is a waste)

Turn 3 Great Merchant?
Wow, congratulations. smile

Get in! jive although you are a braver man than I! lol

TBH though the decision to pop the lair wasn't that risky if you consider that it would have spawned countless lizardmen before we could have removed it causing us all sorts of problems. Leaving the unit on top would have just meant that he'd have been eaten by an animal and then the lizards would have come anyway.

It's a matter of time before someone gets Mistformed in one of these games for the lurkers' amusement lol

I'm dearly hoping it does actually, it's one of the most hilarious things to happen in FFH.
