This was an eventful turn considering I only have two units and one of them is keeping perfectly still.
No lizards spawned on the ruins to the east so.....
There is some risk in exploring the ruin. It could spawn barbs, my Redshirt could simply disappear into the depths, he might get withered, plagued, poisoned or crazed. OTOH, if I get a positive result, the lair will be destroyed and I could pick up a nice goodie or two. If I spawn barbs, the Redshirt is toast but I'll have enough time to get a warrior or two built in GLT before they can arrive across all the desert. I think the risk/reward ratio is good enough to warrant exploring the ruin so.....

A great merchant. Awesome. I'll settle him in GLT for +1f/6 g (9! gold once God King is in). There won't be too many early game money worries.
(he'll currently bulb Agriculture, at 79 beakers this is a waste)
