At least for TF and Anivia I think it is their "title" (don't know how you call it in English, I'm sorry). If you look at the LoL-Homepage under Champions, you will find on Anivias page "Anivia, the Cyrophoenix". The same for TF.

And this seems to be used throughout the community, not only by him.

Maleficant, U so n00b! lol

That's how you are supposed to communicate in LoL it seems, right???

Anyway, on a more serious topic, we lost twice against an all tank team this week. Deeply annoying. Although we all agree we might have stood a chance in the last game, if ape could have stayed on for longer.
So a questions to the more experienced players:
Is an all tank team the best team composition to win? Or are the scales tipped to a more diversified team when level 18s are reached?

Also are there merits for an all ranged team, or an all stealth team?

The game I was in vs the tank team we would probably have won if we didn't have to rush due to Ape3 having to go, since we could just have let Trist/Nasus farm up to complete builds. The ways to kill tanks quickly are %HP abilities and highly farmed physical DPS. DPS has more stats that scale multiplicatively (damage, speed, Armour reduction/pen, Crit%, Crit multiplier) whereas tanks just have armour * HP. So the tanks get annoyingly hard to kill after 2-3 big items, but with full endgame builds on both sides even Rammus goes down fairly quickly.

Win or lose, I despise all-tank setups as they make for boring games with low kill counts on both sides

Have you guys seen much counter-jungling in your games? It really does seem like the jungler is in a very weak position early game if the other team manages to find him, just about any kind of disruption really seems to slow a jungler and destroy the ability to gank a lane easily.

I played a hilarious game as jungle Nunu where I kept stealing their Olaf's blue buff and ganking him whenever he tried to get back on me by stealing my own. We still lost because captain Teemo wasn't on duty at his mid lane since he disconnected cry

All tank setup is pretty terrible. As uberfish said, get items that do percentage based damage and/or remove armor. Madred's Bloodrazor + Deathfire Grasp are the most important. Last Whisper, Black Cleaver, and Malady can also be pretty good. If you have any kind of ranged DPS, you should be able to kite an all-tank team and whittle them down over time.

Assuming players of equal skill level, balanced teams should beat out teams that emphasize one skill or style of play. An all stealth team in particular would be terrible, since the other side could buy Oracles and shut down your whole team.

One thing that could be a concern with an all tank team though is the amount of CC that tanks have with slows/taunts/blind/etc- if they are able to just shut down your team's carries for the whole length of a battle they will have a much easier time imo.

I spoke with Speaker about the all-tank build on ts. He said in ranked, where they could see the all-tank build as the other team picks, you would counter-pick champs that can push the lane easily and early, and jump around the map. Then you split up opportunistically early and push lanes and towers (and avoid team fights), and the enemy team lacks the speed and power to counter.

Obviously that option isn't possible in non-ranked until Riot adds in draft mode across all game types.

Why is that good? He couldn't start to attack the blue buff for 15 seconds after it spawned, and it required a tremendous amount of set up which could be disrupted. He then lived with just 28 hp left. Not to mention Nidalee is one of the strongest laners in the game, and shouldn't be taking ignite to begin with. And that you need a strong ganker out of the jungle with the current metagame, and with this setup, you wouldn't even have a smite.

So....why is this worth a watch?
