Hand crafted map that might contain some strange features like a peninsula that connects us together in the north. Not sure whether it is worth checking and would it be better to go south where there seems to be more land.

However the lake in the east probably means that it is better to go SE.

Lot of hills, some plains and not that many food resources visible. This might be a bit more food scarce map than the earlier Krill maps.

There is a lake to the SW as well. Look for the blue by the Grass Hills.

You've good eyes. Didn't notice that. Had to check whether it is fresh water, when logging in next time. So this could be some kind of lakes type map and quite rocky landscape.

I'll make some kind of testbench a bit later when we hopefully found reasonable 2nd city spots, but Hunting+Worker->Warrior seems best way to start so I think we go with that. Techwise we need to decide between AH and BW. BW comes online ~T24. That is a long time, but I suspect we need chopping and copper position more than improved cows and shooting straight to Writing is probably too big of a risk.

After BW we need something for our economy unless we see some good luxury spots close by, when we might be able to delay economy techs in expense of something else. Preferrably we've a land that would call for Libraries i.e. AH-Writing, 2nd best would be Wheel-Pottery and distant 3rd Fishing-Sailing and working coastal/lake tiles.

And I tested special chracters and they work alright. Named our warrior to then.

We should improve the deers ASAP, those tiles are really good early on. Not many techs will give you a 5/1 and a 3/3 at the same time :D

Hunting is definately 1st. However AH vs. BW after that is the question. AH would come pretty fast since we would have both prerequicites so it might still be wortwhile to take it before BW. We would have a good spot to utilise our settler bonus even without whipping and chopping with deers and cow online generating 8 hammers.

Thank you for suggestions. I changed the names after taking the screenshots so our capital is Lol and I'll definately use these and similar for future cities .

I was thinking to change the name of our nation to something illustrative. Is there some word or words in Eglish used to describe someone/someones that use excessive amounts of smileys and/or has profound knowledge of acronyms? Geek and nerd maybe? Are there others? Also suggestions concerning the actual name are welcome.

Sure, go for it. Not sure if we want 1 or 2 parts of the name.

But anyway, I'd vote Bronze working, I think that chops/slaving will push our growth much faster than the lone cow. We have two pretty nice tiles with hunting to fuel population growth and we can clear the river side hills for more production and coin bonii.
