Just checked. This turn he moved to same tile with our warrior. I think there won't be a need to wait next turn.

I also managed to log in simultaneously with him and we chatted a couple of words. Nothing significant to report.

Continued to SE and there is rice.

That would be a nice pink dot.

Indeed.

It seems also that WarlordDR isn't too talkative so I guess we better try to find our friends elsewhere. I haven't yet given up all hope though.

Maybe we can pink dot the site down the road if its not too close and he's indeed playing a farmer's gambit.

I guess NE to find Warlord.

I suspect pretty much everyone is on worker start. 3 turn warrior forgives quite a bit of early gambles. If we really want to push it our 3rd city could be here. Currently I hope to plant 1 close by fish city with token army and just 1 worker as fast as possible (possibly eastern one 1st) and another city to claim copper or if we have it another within our borders already to claim other fish. After that we could hopefully get decent defensive units out and more workers to try some agressive settling.

;-) should move to NE or SE. There is a hill SE-E so SE attaracts me a bit more. I'm not certain, but I've hunch that all civs in south would have pretty similar distance from the tundra for balance reasons so either route should take us close to him.

My only real rationale for NE is that's the direction the scout came from and we are hitting trees so we can't really take advantage of the hill sight. I don't care too much either way.

WarlordDR is clearly doing a circle around his capital. I decided to go SE since it also reveals more fogged tiles. There is gold. Again assuming that resources are quite balanced there is a good chance that "our" gold is west from our capital. Of course this could be ours also wink.

White border came visible. The city site claiming gold, rice and cows is very good for WarlordDR. It is unlikely we can get there 1st. I wish we've something similar in the west.
