Starting from the fact that we considered that Fishing is essential when we didn't find farmable resources (well probably we would have had BW at settling time without Fishing), that Warlord acted the way he did so that we decided to befriend with Nakor/Gaspar and then delay settling towards them. In many cases I think the city by the gold might have been the 1st one for us. Furthermore the only improvement we can sensibly make around Noms to get WB out faster is a mine and we ended up making it right in to the Copper tile. As a bonus we're in a position where the copper can really make a difference. Of course, the city in the west ALSO would've gotten copper. Not quite as convenient, but still very nice. This should be fun to watch. =)
I didn't see a copper at our towards Vikings City.
By the way ComeAtMeBro is our Warlord Front City: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/come-at-me-bro

Oh missed that. There was also copper near c3 . I was way too happy to find just the copper near Noms. Well it wasn't riverside so we would have needed Wheel to hook it up.
Locke told me that Adlain is the one between him and Warlord. Based on PBEM11 I should do alright with him. However I've a feeling he isn't too experienced in warfare so not sure how he will react, if I suggest a common campaign. I'll find him pretty soon to discuss about it.
Meanwhile Warlord and we've both invested all our EP points to each other current tally is 100/100. antisocialmunky Wrote:By the way ComeAtMeBro is our Warlord Front City: Great idea... probably . That city alone would annoy him so little taunting probably wouldn't make a difference. We're heading for a fight against game long enemy. Not a best possible alternative, if we want to win. However the difference to current situation is not that big. Our relationship is already pretty bad and without dialogue there is no way to fix it.
I wouldn't be so convinced about that. War is only a bad thing only if you aren't winning it.

That's assuming if we are going to invest in a war and not let Warlord declare us since we are obviously the evil invaders with our pink dots and warrior shenanigans. I guess we can always hope that he pulls a Dantski and just sits and gets squeezed by his neighbors.

Settlers on the move. I haven't yet moved our warriors. I'm thinking, if we could/should cause some trouble with our warriors for Warlord's settling plans. If you've any ideas speak up fast, since we need to act within next 5h. As far as I can tell he has the same 4 warriors of which we see 3 currently (One is under our warrior).
With a chop and whip we could get 2 axes pretty fast out of Noms after WB, that is Something to consider also. |
