[SPOILERS]Novice, Spacemanmf and Athlete4life10 are HUYANA CAPAC OF CHINA

Analysis:

Pegasus gained 27k population and 9k score. That's his second city growing to size 4, and him discovering Writing.

TT lost 1k power and 3k score. That's him whipping his capital from size 3 to size 2. His other city is size 1, so his pop is 7k. Ad Hoc has a size 2 city and 6k pop. That leaves 69k pop for Ruff, so his cities are sizes 4 and 3.

Ruff got a 3k score increase, that's his second city growing to size 3.

No changes for Ad Hoc.

That gives a total change in rival power of -1k, which matches the change in rival average.
I have to run.

novice Wrote:T58 played. TT has a massive power drop. Ad Hoc and TT signed peace. We've got a T100 NAP with Pegasus.

novice Wrote:Looks like TT lost 2-3 Impis and called it a day.

Cough.

spacemanmf Wrote:Top power is still 54k, which is potentially ad hoc, so maybe TT lost a load of impis to axes.

Well, that was worth it, eh, TT. Copper next to everyone's capital not the ideal situation, really.

Good to hear about our extended NAP.

Ok, I can figure out the power graph vs the demographics if I ignore that weird mini spike at the top that ad hoc's line did. Because that doesn't show up on the top/average rival power. One possible explanation might be is that he built an axe and not a spear and lost a warrior at some point, and the graph treated that movement separately, whereas the demographics summary treated them together. Anyway, let's just ignore it, eh?

Basically, I reckon TT's power fell from 54k to 38k, which is equivalent to losing 4 impis. No wonder he offered/accepted peace.

Permission granted, as long as I can build all the wonders I want.

Maybe we messed up our demographics screenshots, or mixed before/after end of turn screenshots and that somehow matters.

Hmm, feels somewhat uneven.

Well, I laboriously opened the old saves to see if that was the reason, but it didn't seem to be.

It doesn't look as though the save will come tonight.

Btw, we've both forgotten to mention that a forest grew outside Big Slick. Always nice with 30 free hammers.

And yeah, the TT campaign wasn't exactly a stunning success, if that's what your coughing meant.

PBEM8 spoiler:
Kind of ironic that Ad Hoc is so behind, in PBEM8 due to a failed rush, and in PBEM13 due to being rushed.

Well, look at that. Got it.

Wow - that worked almost too well...

Newsflash: forest growth!

Doesn't really cut it.

My cough was more for the fact that I had guessed about TT losing Impis before we definitively knew. I wish I'd followed it up with "we can expect peace next turn"...

lol

So, T59 played, nothing much going on. Rival power is unchanged, and nobody wants to chat with us. Started Maths, but currently saving gold.
EDIT: Rival population is unchanged as well, and TT and Ruff discovered techs.

Okay, so what little action there was this turn happened in the east. The barb warrior that was 1N of Jack of Clubs decided to flee the scene.

Jack couldn't chase but had to go south to protect our workers. This revealed another barb warrior.

We might need another axeman here, since Jack is scheduled to head southwest to patrol the stone/gems area. One option is to get build an axeman in Pocket Bullets. This will cost us a settler by the T74 deadline, not saying that's a big deal though. Another option is to whip or chop an axeman in Nut Flush Draw and delay the granary there. This doesn't affect our (okay my) Hanging Gardens plan, but it does slow the development of Nut Flush Draw.
