I could and I do it, if desicion is to continue as is. However I don't think it is best option for game integrity.

I feel sorry for the guy who takes over because the first thing he's going to see is one of his settlers getting chased around by a warrior.

The problem is no matter if someone takes over or not, they will already be a little squeezed. You have a border agreement with Gaspar/Nakor so you'll need to expand towards them. I don't think its fair to you guys not to play optimally. You made the play to declare war in the first place and then the decision to continue based on the reaction. At this point if you don't take the settler and continue the war you're punishing yourself for Warlord's mistakes.

Kudos to you guys for trying to do the right thing. I'm kinda disappointed that these clowns won't even stick out the game, because I was looking forward to you guys laying the smack down on them.

I had high expectations for you based on your performance in RBP2, but your actions and your attitude throughout this whole situation are definitely surpassing them. Great work so far and thank you for your nearly excessive integrity.

Thank you. You make me blush.

I still think just reversing turn order would have been simpler and therefore better alternative, but I'm obvivously alright with the reload. Slight problem seems to be that Sunrise isn't at the moment available that delays the restart.

WarriorKnight will enter the game in a tough position and unfortunately for him I'm not gonna accept peace lightly at this point.

That begs the question: What would we take for sparing his copper settler and long-term peace?

His gold city?

That would make it. However it is probably hard to accept for him. Partly because I try to avoid revealing our true potential, in case we need to try to take the city with force. There is still a lot he can do to make things a way harder, if we give our hand out too early.

That is true and with WarriorKnight coming in, he'll probably suspect that we might be trying to take advantage of the situation.

Alright they had a warrior scouting in the north after all. Another one is coming from the south. It might be best to park it on copper and hope it survives, if they both attack. At least he is taking serious risk.

Message from WK. I haven't yet responded:

Quote:The lurkers have filled me in on the diplomatic situation between our civilizations since the start of the game. Unfortunately it seems my predecessor was... let's just say he was far from a good diplomat, which has inevitably lead to war.

I guess that leaves the question, where do you want to go from here? I understand that you probably don't like my civ very much to say the least (in-game) and thus if you don't want peace I can hardly complain about it, but I would prefer peace so that we can both have a chance later on against everyone else.

What do you think?
