This is not working. Peple found cities and whip and it is impossible to keep track. We need Civstats fix immediate. If you not logged into game at turn start you cant get info about new turn. I dont want to wait and hold save every turn because that sucks. No alternative right now. Need to fix this!!!!!!

How about try playyourturn website that plako post? Get sunrise host guy to try that. What we doing now not working.

Ha I think it's actually moving faster now, with LP prodding everyone to finish their turn.

It's actually kind of nice not having your every move scrutinized by people who haven't even met you yet for once. When you think about it, logically you really shouldn't be able to do that. We just work with it because it happens to be a consequence of a real-time score logging system. But it's hardly the end of the world if we don't see that information for a couple of turns, at least this early in the game.

Anyway, I don't object to switching to that PlayYourTurn site Plako linked to. It's up to Sunrise to set it up though, since he's the host.

Either way, Locke, please don't unnecessarily avoid ending your turn just for the sake of seeing score increases at the turn flip. Everyone else seems to be bearing with not keeping track of numbers for a brief period while we don't have real-time score logging, and it's a shame to unnecessarily delay the turn flip by waiting for someone who delays ending their turn. If anyone else decides to get the same idea then we'll start having 24 hour turns again every time while each person waits for the other, which would be a shame after the recent good pace.

I personaly have no problem with or without CivStats bar the email to say a turn has ticked over, as for locke holding the game to the 24 hour timer, again if he wants to he is well within his rights to do so.

As for this turn, i will play as soon as i get access to my main pc, but could somone please tell me how meny hours are left on the timer

There was 14 hours left when you bug me the first time. 14 hours is not running down clock. I was asleep most of that time. Now you all over me again with 16 hours left on turn. I not wasting your time. Not even close to 24 hour clock.

Info is key to these games. You need to know what others doing. If neighbor is whipping whipping whipping I need to know! Otherwise you die. We already have war in this game dont tell me it too early in game for bad stuff to happen. You can ignore numbers if you want but it matter to me.

Right now I check game every 2 hours. There still other people need to play. When I go to sleep I end turn so no one have to wait. I not holding anyone up. You wait at most 2 hours. If someone post everyone scores at start of turn, then I go ahead and finish turn. But I dont expect that to happen.

Im glad you want to play but I'm checking game every 2 hours and you are not having to wait. So it should not be big deal.

Fair points. I'm not trying to be specifically on your case, just trying to help the game in general keep its momentum. We've achieved quite a good pace lately, and it's nice to keep that up. I think it's more interesting for everyone (including the lurkers) when the game moves faster. Sorry if it comes across as nagging, that's not my intention.

Really? I don't see an issue with trying to help the game to keep its pace. Anyway, I would have thought that's more GES's area. If he has a problem with it (for some reason?!), then I guess I'll stop. I just come from a community where we're all used to posting friendly reminders to one another to play our turns (especially when Civstats is down), so I'm just doing what I'm used to. It would be odd to me if that was against some kind of rule.
